Re: [WGR][MN] | Wagerr | The Betting Blockchain | $108.6 MM bets in WGR placed
by

What actually IS impressive:
  • Developing a blockchain application which has everyday growing usage, even by people not familiar with crypto
  • Developing a trustless web sportsbook which is as user-friendly as centralized sportsbook
  • Offering disruptive technology with WGR being a decentralized bookmaker - one of its kind - which is now even used by a traditional bookmaker to hedge liability
  • Having introduced DeFi wrapped tokens and liquidity farms for Uniswap and Pankakeswap in a very short time
I could continue with more points but recommend DYOR for discovering the advantages, you won't believe how undervalued this project is

What actually IS NOT impressive:
  • Creating empty hype for a "coming soon" project
  • Making empty promises using a ton of buzzwords without real fundamentals
  • Being listed on big exchanges bribing them with lots of money
  • Creating pump schemes and tricking newbies into buying worthless tokens

Did you even take a quick look at the homepage before you made your judgement "shitcoin"? They are constantly developing and have a usable product, even with a blockchain based web sportsbook (anonymous, via seed words) additional to mobile and windows wallets - the only project I know of, which has achieved this - others are based on centralized sites.
99 % of ICO projects failed to deliver their promises and just had a quick hype - but really, tell me, what is the usecase for Litecoin? Just Bitcoin's little brother? Dogecoin is based on a joke. Markets are irrational. This coin is so overwhelmingly undervalued, I cannot believe it sometimes.

The site is awesome. Just enter address, instructions are very easy to understand and masternode is online in minutes. They also take care of updates, which has been seamless for me (7 MNs). Service is answering very fast.

⭐ Merited by LoyceV (1)
Let me tell you, Dave is a genius and an absolutely trustworthy person!
I sent him my wallet.dat containing 1000 Darkcoin/Dash in 2014, he could not crack it so I tried from time to time with bruteforcing on GPUs myself but without any success, which was frustrating because it turned out to be quite a fortune in the last years.
Now, after 5 years(!) I got a surprising e-mail from him, that he cracked my wallet, he took the agreed 20 % fee and nothing more, while he could have taken it all - I would not even have suspected him after so much time has passed. Soon after he sent me the passphrase.
Thanks again, Dave I hope you can help a lot of other people too, since this is a win-win business Smiley

Re: [ANN] Ʉ Umbrella | The First Insured Cryptocurrencies | Umbrella-LTC | ULTC
by

1) Merged mining: Is it really the same like mining Litecoin and Umbrella LTC with full hash rate separately? Why is not everybode merge mining if that's the case?

2) I might consider myself as Crypto-Newbie and have talked a lot with "non-tech" people about Cryptocurrencies. They don't get the revolutionary point and they don't care about the fascinating technology behind. All they ask is, why they should use them instead of credit cards etc. and where they can pay.

I think Umbrella coins could be the bridge to mainstream adoption! Think of PayPal - I really disregard them as seller, but from a buyer's perspective they are great. They offer security - or at least the feeling of security. This makes them successful despite enormous fees for the seller. If you can setup a similiar payment processor which is easy to use, has low fees, fairer dispute resolution and the backup of "umbrella insurance" it may be a huge success. I love the idea of secure exchanges. Also easy usability - I had smartphones long before the iPhone came out and nobody understood my need or fascination for them - think how Apple changed the market after that.

Cryptonerds might not like this kind of "institutional backup", but people generally trust institutions more then technical elegant "trustless" solutions - so yes, go for it - build the bridge for mainstream adoption Smiley

by

Sorry, I don't see this Groupbuy happening soon. The two options are:
1) Wait for the price to go up
2) Raise the price for each share

Please send my BTC back, but I'd like to keep my slot reserved for any future changes. I might also be willing to pay more BTC if everyone agrees on that.

Here is the fix for the R9 290 mining.
Tested on BAMT 1.6, it worked.
You can put it in first post, or not.

I have sent a 30 Darkcoin Bounty to cryptogretzky by myself, for the bug finding.

If any-one want to pay me back a part of that bounty, here is my address to share the cost.
XavaNMidPmofBUt4RWLf6YHhNDUNA7TjY6

As I only have 3 r9 290 I'll make 3 month to recover that bounty with my increased hasrate, but I'll be in peace with this bug.

run "aticonfig --adapter=all --initial -f".

add these 4 lines into /etc/rc.local before exit 0

Code:
export DISPLAY=:0
xset s off
xset -dpms
xset s noblank

Just in case it's not already executable, run:

Code:
chmod +x /etc/rc.local

Enjoy, and sleep in peace now Cheesy

Great! Is there a solution for windows as well?

here is my suggestion for the drk-logo(s)

http://s14.directupload.net/images/140331/mm96eujk.png

have a closer look at the logo-discussion:

Alter Schwede! I absolutely love this design. Very clean and professional, also looks good as small icon and incorporates the way DarkSend works!
When will be able to vote for the final design?

So after Alpha Tech, Flower Tech, Fibonacci, Zeusminer and Gridseed no big sums left, but I think I can spare one share for a real company Wink

Looks very promising! Will the pricing depend on the volume of trades? It would be very unfair to charge the same monthly amount to the small miner/investor as to the big whales!

Please also add me to the list of betatesters!

Hi,
I'd like to purchase 10x L1 option.

It was removed from the OP again!

There is a 1 per customer and limited quantity per round available for the L1 option.  I can do one lease and 9 hosted or just one lease.  Let me know.  I'll fix the OP again.

OK, please cancel my order.

Re: 24change.com - Buy/Sell Bitcoin, Paymer, BTC-E code, PM, Okpay, Paypal, Egopay
by
werwohl
on 10/12/2013, 15:59:14 UTC
I've already started a Thread in the newbie section. But this information could be useful for others too.
I personally cannot say anything about 24change.com, but it seems that Liqpay (credit card provider) is very unreliable.

I've made deposits with my visa card on 11/19/2013. 500 $ plus 100 $ to buy bitcoins via 24change. I got a temporary hold for 3 days. Then nothing happened. My credit card was charged the corresponding amounts, but nothing happened. First I accused 24change, but it seems they never got the money. Liqpay had same lame excuses, like my bank did not answer, when they asked for authorization.
But there was no problem with transaction, since I already could see it on my credit card balance. The lame excuses continued, like automatic refund could not be done and now I am waiting for over a week for manual refund. It has been nearly a month now.

I will claim a fraudulent transaction to my bank. Take care if you use Liqpay together with 24change!

by

I've contacted Liqpay support, the transactions were never processed.
It's very strange, they charged my card successfully, but did not get an answer from my bank (?!) so the money was frozen, but they could not refund it because of an error and are doing it manually.

Does not seem very trustworthy, but I don't think it's 24change.com's fault. Hope to get back my money soon.
I will update then.

24change.com/Liqpay warning!!
by
werwohl
on 28/11/2013, 11:13:28 UTC
Since I can't post in the right thread, I have to do it in the newbie section.

I have made 3 transactions on the 19th of november:
100 $ via credit card to BTC -> was processed via Liqpay and converted instantly
500 $ via credit card to BTC -> transaction was processed via Liqpay but put on hold for 3 days
100 $ via credit card to BTC -> (different card): transaction was also put on hold.

I have not received any answer to my e-mail, chat support was just closed without any answer.
I only received two order numbers: 28231 and 28214.
The money was already charged from my credit card, but still no conversion or answer! The exchange rate is different now, I am REALLY UPSET, even if they are going to do the conversion to bitcoins!!

I am warning anybody, do not use their service!!
