While I agree it will moon eventually, volume goes both ways, selling and buying. So volume doesnt automatically result in price growth.
I think people need to appreciate this is a long term project and shouldnt all pile in for short term profit, as that might not happen.

I really do believe in this project, but the market cap growth has been way to fast to be stable in the short term.
I expect a painful correction sometime, maybe even now. Just putting it out there, there are never any guarantees on price.

Trying to stake and followed the tutorial here: https://forum.pivx.org/t/how-to-stake-your-pivx-coins-basic/131/3
I went through all the steps in the video. Wallet is funded, encrypted and unlocked for anon and staking only. Wallet is fully synched. Yes, changed the config file to "staking=1"
But the arrow is still grey not green and says "Staking is not active. Multisend: not active"
What do I do? Thanks

After the first time you sync your chain it requires you to restart the wallet before it will stake, that might be it.
Unfortunately I've tried that a few times and it doesn't work. One of the comments in that thread said there's some additional code after "staking=1" but they didn't link to where I can find it?
Your config file should look like this:
listen=1
server=1
daemon=1
staking=1
logtimestamps=1
masternode=0
rpcuser=CHOSENUSERNAME
rpcpassword=CHOSENPASSWORD
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=51470
port=51472
listen, daemon are very important
pick any unique user and a long password. So if you have multiple wallets/masternodes have different usernames

I just got minted approx. 7.74 PIV.
But now it displays "Stacking is not active".

I believe you need to wait again for the new coins to mature before staking restarts.
You need to wait 101 confirms before it is eligible to stake again.

Expected, it takes a while to activate. Again, hit the dedicated #support channel or forums if you want fast and dedicated support.

what kind of rewards can one expect with let say 5000 pivx if you leave your wallet open all day and night?
Hard to be exact, but you will get at least one reward every two days
The rewards are around 7.2 pivx currently

The rewards vary, but from personal experience having exactly 50% of my pivx in masternodes,
you get almost the same rewards recently, with masternodes rewarding slightly more.
I would get 30 - 50 % more stakes than masternode reward payouts a day, but stakes being 80% of the masternode payout.
So staking is providing a nice return with the current masternode numbers.

Well you have all let me down lol.
Going to have to come up with some other method.
Maybe I can put my skills as a postie to work for the Pivx team delivering junk mail in my local area but I am not sure the coin is ready for that type of marketing yet (still too hard for the average joe to buy)
Easiest option might be to try get more money out of the wife
Give it a day or two, the overall trend seems to be downwards. I think the all the alts are starting to turn
