I do not have an Reddit account, so I am posting here cryptocurrencies from my portfolio that has PoS consensus.
The most profitable is: ICON, followed by QuarkChain.
Also Cardano will launch staking this year, but the rewards will be only around 3% per year.

It is interesting that some people still believe in this company and buying TELE tokens.
It is an obvious scam, if not, why CEO and all team members left chat groups on Telegram? Why they didn´t communicate with investors in any other way?

Re: Can Ethereum survive below 0.02 BTC per coin?
by
whatthesith
on 01/09/2019, 16:47:14 UTC
As we all know, the exchange rate of Ethereum has fallen during the past few months (vs BTC). From around 0.035 BTC per coin six months back, the prices have fallen to 0.0205 BTC as of now. The market share of Ethereum in the cryptocurrency market has fallen from 11.5% to 8.3% during the same period. Other alts have also fallen, but not by this much.

And this has happened despite the boost it received from the IEOs. Can ETH manage a comeback anytime soon? Will the investors stop selling their ETH holdings for BTC, and hold on to the coin?
If you would like to see which coins fell most here is the website for you: https://athcoinindex.com/
There are only few altcoins that are not in 90% loss compared to the highest price.

Re: Can Ether become an Independent currency like Bitcoin?
by

At first Ethereum needs to become decentralized just like Bitcoin. Secondly they need to develop Ethereum 2.0 woth sharding and Plasma technology to compete with the all smartcontracts blockchain platforms and then we can expect a price growth.

You can only transfer all coins and tokens from this wallet to another one to protect you against the hacker, that is all. If your wallet is already clear, then you can only go to police and report the ETH address of the hacker, thats all, maybe in the future we will be able to recognize the hacker identity.

Re: Is that the real Libra?
by

on 29/08/2019, 10:04:29 UTC
It can't be the real Libra. Because Libra doesn't exist and will not be developed soon due to regulations. Also you can see that it is a sponsored ad, so it means third party advertisement.

I think that you have chosen probably the worst 3 coins from top 100. Tron? Hype around a lunch with Warren Buffet? That should help the project to stay alive?
BCHAbc? Did you see the computing power of the network? One attack and the network will be completely destroyed. XRP? Unlimited supply? No, thanks.

Still people are use private keys or mnemonic words? Why dont you use encrypted file? By using an encrypted file + password you are much more protected against spy attacks.

I participated in their airdrop, earned around 50USDX and when I wanted to sold them, I got P2P offer 50USDX for 1USD. They aren´t even listed on any exchange, so what is the purpose of this coin?  Cheesy For me it is another failed project and has no future.

Re: Bitcoin Dominance Index: is Alt Season already there, without us even noticing?
by

I think that altcoin season will happen with the next bull run, when new investors come to the crypto market, they will buy Bitcoin, then they will learn something about altcoins and then they will start buying altcoins with their Bitcoins.

My greatest crypto regret was when a friend wanted to give me 6btc in 2010 and i told him this 'you are just wasting your time with all this useless internet things' and even the guy wasnt sure if what is holding will worth it in future so the guy replied 'it costs me nothing' ,after few months i stop seeing the guy again even till date,i thinks he is not in my city anymore, what is your greatest crypto regret?
Maybe he is enjoying 6 BTC on Bahamas.  Cheesy
I most regret that I did not buy cryptocurrencies when I heard about them for the first time in 2010-2011, but I think that all of us have same experience.  Smiley

He is not only one who is positive about Facebook Libra. Facebook could attract more than 2 billions of people and when they find out why cryptocurrencies are important, maybe some of them will buy real cryptocurrencies.  Smiley

Re: Gigantic max supply is bad
by
whatthesith
on 25/08/2019, 13:23:38 UTC
Do not care about the total supply, you should watch about the market cappitalization (it is calculated from token supply * price). For example Ethereum and Ripple has almost same market cappitalization, but Ethereum is 1000x more expensive than Ripple because Ripple circulating supply is 1000times higher than Ethereum. As you can see it is not an important information. But when you choose coins by market cap, you can find some that are undervalued. (Highly used but low market cap = potential high return).

Crypto market is pretty boring last month, but if you would like to make some good trades, you need to watch it 24/7 or buying a bot that will do this job for you.

Every year startups come with a new marketing buzzwords. 2017- ICO, 2018- STO, 2019-IEO whats next? It doesn't matter how the token sale will be managed? But the real reason why people invest is that they believe in a new holy grail?

by

We have seen many failed flippenings. And probably we will not see any successful one and why? Because Ethereum doesn't have something what Bitcoin has - the true decentralization. When you think about it, noone will invest a lot of money into one name - Vitalik Buterin.  Smiley

Re: Bounty Projects Paying Out in Bitcoin or Ethereum Instead of Bounty Native Token
by
whatthesith
on 24/08/2019, 12:08:28 UTC
I wish projects could effect the standard of paying bounty hunters with ethereum or btc. This would be more beneficial both to the bounty hunters and the project. The project team always term the bounty hunters dumpers and the bounty hunters are in most cases concerned with immediate gratification and that explains why they want to sell out the tokens for eth or btc.
They know about the problem that bounty hunters are selling their tokens because bounty hunters have the experience that the price of tokens falls rapidly after listing.
But also team do not have enough funds to pay bounty hunters in BTC or ETH. It looks like this problem has no solution.

Maybe more important is to avoid holding dead coins instead of useless coins. We have seen many useful coins but they suddenly stopped developing their own cryptocurrency. List of such coins you can find here: https://deadcoins.com/

Everyone is waiting for the altseason. But do you really believe that will come? Wouldn't it be high and certain profit? And such profit doesn´t exist!
