Will it rise soon or shall we sell?
If you ask about Bitcoin, I think now is not the right time to sell it so you and anyone should focus more on buying it because the current price of Bitcoin is already in a fairly low range due to the price decline in the last two days. So you have to be more confident in the increase even though you still have to be patient in waiting for it so what you are holding right now should not be sold in the current condition. Because if you sell Bitcoin in conditions like this, it is an action that is not appropriate for anyone to do.

We should consider the current correction as a sale.
Surely, the fear index is high, but our determination to hodl should be even higher  Cool
2025 just started, and we've got plenty of time to work with.

Thats a very big correction.

Two of my devices have already been repaired. The bearings on the other 3 are already whistling. I don't think this is a product with a very long lifespan.

The main problem is the heat. Keep them cool with usb fans. Mine are working like a charm.

I don't think It would go down hard this period and even if it does, it won't go below 85 to $80k, the wars in the Middle East are gradually coming to an end, thanks to the Victory of Trump therefore I think we'll witness better times ahead even before he's being sworn in as the President elect of the states by next year, my thought is that we may witness Bitcoin get to 100k before next year, the reality is very possible given how fast it set an ATH on the 90k plus mark. Trump as President elect has begin to show positive news in the market lately, Bitcoin has passed silver to rank 7th in highest ranking assets, Israel would be forced to seize fire on it neighbouring countries likewise Russia on Ukraine it's a good news for not only Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency at large but for also the stock market, we're in good times and everyone should just brace themselves for the 100k mark and after Trump is sworn in it could even go higher than expected, I don't want to mention any figures out of speculation but I believe Bitcoin would be very very bullish after Trump is sworn in as the next President of the states.

Bitcoin is correcting and holding above $89k but how strong this correction will be will depend on what caused it. If it is just a healthy correction after a series of growth days, there is nothing to worry about, but if it is affected by macro news, things will become more serious.

News of the war in the Middle East seems to have died down since Trump won the election, but there have been recent reports that Biden is allowing Ukraine to attack deep into Russian territory. I think we should not take this news lightly, if it happens, we will have a more serious dumping than we think.

I used to think that bitcoin would be able to grow until Trump officially took office, but I started to worry that bitcoin would be affected as the political war between the two administrations in the United States increased. I was very optimistic about bitcoin hitting $100k this month but now I'm a little worried.

100k is a matter of time. When Trump will sit at the White House and starts to make true his promises for war, bitcoin etc, it will hit much higher. You have a speculation but this is the fact.

wonder if anyone has ideas on this one ....

power up the avalon nano 3
on phone change wifi to Heater_nano **
go to app , click add equipment
asks for ip
look at nano 3 , ip is 192.168.168.168
enter this in app and spins for about a minute saying connecting
but never does

I have 3 second hand nanos here , all doing identical thing

help :-)

What kind of adapter you use?

im using the orginal caanaan power adaptor

anybody know how to do a hard reset , i have searched and tried turning power off , turn on , hold switch key for 3/5 secs
and it seems to have little effect

all thoughts appreciated

Try this as ultimate solution.

Hi,

I received my 2 Nano 3 yesterday.

What wallets are people sending to?

I have a Ledger set up with my btc on it, and I have a Crypto dot com, and Binance accounts.

Will any of them work? And if not, which wallet should I use with the nano?

Thanks.

All these wallets work fine. Before payout at Braiins pool i.e. beware the fees first. You need to have a certain amount to transfer them with low fee.

hello.is there a possibility to overclock the device?...for example to reach 4.5T?

If you watch the UI of Nano, manytime at high mode it reaches 4.2 T. I thing pushing it over the limit might harm the device.

I think that if you want to have fun with mining, help secure and decentralize the world and heat your bedroom in the process, then you have just a very cool and fun miner here! I bought a few and I am very happy with them, not making much sats from them, around 1000sats per day on a pool, but my other space heaters didn't give me any sats at all... Smiley

BTW, some people are saying that the Avalon Nano's are tied to Braiins pool, that is not true. You can mine in other pools, and even solo mine with them.

Also, if you want to control your Avalon Nano from the command line, I just made a tool for that... I have several around the house to help heat the bedrooms, and with this cli tool I am able to automate power changes through out the day, based on the production of my solar panels, and at night switch off the led for kids to sleep, all from cron jobs on my server and home assistant.

It was fun to build, check it out on github: https://github.com/prcolaco/avalon-nano-cli

So far my Avalon Nanos are doing a great job at both heating and mining! Have fun fellow miners! <3 Smiley

You are right. Good job with the script, but the UI does exact the same thing. Undecided

I used cable which came with Dell monitor, I guess it's good, it looks solid and robust, usb 3.2 gen 2, 65w max though, but in my case that's enough anyway.
This is temporary solution, I can't use any other cable at the moment.

Sometimes Nano makes weird odd things. Retry that cable in a few days, and also get a compatible one.

My Nano3 was working fine for about 45 days or so, zero problems, it was working in Low mode because of the heat outside and I didn't mind that.
So yesterday I decided to move it to another room, so I unplugged it and just plugged it in the new room, first thing I have noticed is low hash rate, it was always at around 2.4 , but now it is like 0.05 and it says that it is using 15W
That was weird, so after some time of trying to see what is going on, I just gave up and thought maybe it will start working again if I plug it back in the previous place where it was working fine for so long.
Same thing happened there, so I tried today various things, factory reset, wifi change, device recovery flashing, spent hours and hours, nothing helped, it is amazing I must say, in wrong way.
It is some kind of network issue, it can work for few minutes, still with low hash but the network status is green, then it just goes to 0 and it's in red.
Tried changing several pools, it's all the same.
I am really out of ideas, think I tried everything I could, can someone please provide more info on this and how to overcome this issue if possible?

EDIT : Never mind, it was the cable for some odd reason, I changed the cable and it started working as it should.

You mean the usb cable, correct? Must tolerate 140 watts.

Do you get the "unsupported adapter" message?

Apparently chip number 5, the solder underneath works it way loose due to overheating, even though I've only ever run mine on medium power & with the official power adapter.

After 16 days of running in High mode, Avalon needed a reboot. Unplugged and plugged again the power and works fine.

Do you do that often?

The bottomline is the design is terrible.
more parts to break.

very sloppy and lazy. The nano’s are cheap and have extra parts that can break.

Would have been better off with a simple six pin pcie. and a voltage regulator.

I have two and they still run okay. Set to medium speed.

Tell us a miner that is beautiful designed. As for the fragile, how do you treat them?
