There was a chart on twitter showing historical performance of coins over time. In short... it's getting worse.
Better to exit early and take either profit or loss, there's about the same amount of coins launched every year with long-term potential but they tend to get lost between all the empty ones launched recently.

out of the less known ones, byteball has (and will have) quite low fees as there's no mining involved. however the contracts you can express there are more limited compared to eth/nem.
Disclosure: I hold a small amount of byteball right now (<10gb), but actually prototyped (and abandoned) something similar back in 2014-2015. Should've finished that one

I like how similar this "post chain" thread is to the blockchain itself

One thing that I think is sorely needed among these ICOs is a standardized list of terms. Some of the ICO whitepapers I've read have such horrible presentation and lack of concrete information that I can't imagine anyone investing anything in them, regardless of the potential of the concept. As someone coming from an environment where I have reviewed many (far too many) IPOs, the quality bar of ICOs needs to be raised.
I agree. A template term sheet with typical properties would both simplify comparison by participants and act as a quick sanity check for moderators too.
Works great on a torrent boards where a lot of similar releases get posted and otherwise need to be carefully sorted like "is this a reencode? what is the quality? what are the languages/subtitles etc?"

.info domains were banned due to a disproportionate number of spam registrations received from them. Apologies for this - please try a gmail or protonmail address.
I see. Sad to hear that. How do you distinguish between "real" and spam registrations btw? (interested for own projects, can discuss in PM)

Re: [ANN] Motocoin - Proof of Play (human mineable) cryptocurrency. Launched 20 May.
To make it more "rewarding" for more people for longer it might be worthwhile to change the algo to reward a coin per game instead of 100 and change the time to a shorter expected blockfind time. Even then if the coin gains in popularity it will become difficult and frustrating for people at some point. That is the way it goes.
Yep, winning 0.1 coin per game is better than playing 100 games and not winning any.
However, this isn't as easy to implement as it seems.

Собрал еще одну, лол. Но это швах уже, поезд ушел, теперь надо бота писать)
It seems better to adjust not time limit, but level size with difficulty - this makes assessing whether level is finishable much harder - so less profit from brute-forcing levels until the lucky one is found.

There seems to be a problem with FRC withdrawals, min amount is 10, set mine to 20, and after 74 FRC confirmed and some hours passed - nothing appeared in the client :/

There seems to be something wrong with your chart. The MtGox price numbers are about 10x too small, and all the other traces are smushed flat near the bottom of the chart. And I can only see two of them. Does each of them need its own vertical scale, perhaps? Also there are lots of 0, Infinity and NaN values in your data below the chart.
Oh, I totally need to update the ticker scraping code >_<
Thanks for noticing, it always breaks when I pay least attention to it.
