Well, you are aware of the transaction id and your adress is in the list, so slush did the payment. No confirmation is probably a combination of factors: due to the 100k txs waiting list, the relative low fee paid and large transaction size.
It would be MUCH better if Slush includes the pool payments in the next block found by the pool itself.

I guess someone or server forgot to add an extra zero to that payout fee.

But is still unconfirmed. With ZERO confirmations. (I should add for clarity, this popped into my core wallet 4 days ago.)
I'ts not a billion bucks, but $93 an't chump change either.

I still don't have my payout for this transaction. This is from November 10th. But I HAVE received three other payments from Slush since then.

Back in the day we used to pull whole units and send them to BMW for repair, but now when we have a bad board we do a calculation based on a 4 week turn around time. Most of the time it's better to let a partially hashing board (which might be down a few ASIC's) to run until dead instead of pulling it for maint while it is still partially functional. When we do pull dead boards we only remove the ones that need to be fixed and leave the unit on the rack and let the good boards continue to hash. So yes, much better to let a 1 board S9 run than not. Try replacing the primary controller board first, and if that does not bring the dead boards back up, pull them and send only those board out to BMW for maint. You can replace the controller on an older beaglebone S9 (those have the black board as part of the controller unit) with a new autotune controller, you just have to remove the front plate because the Ethernet port will not line up. You can get spare controllers and hash board cables right from BitMain.
If you're loosing S9 boards on the reg, and it's not a temp issue, check the quality of your main input power.

I'm still on my first cup of coffee, so I hope this isn't a very stupid question for the hardware pro's.
I am running two S7's now along with my S9's. I have another S9 with a new auto-tune controller but only one card in that S9 appears to be working correctly. I have spent hours trying to get another blade hashing in it (I thought I had two good blades). I have tried different freq's, different PSU's, different cables, etc. Nothing seems to get more than the one card running.
Now, my question is: Is it better to run the single S9 with only one working card than running an S7 with all cards working? Energy consumption-wise?
I don't feel bad about pushing the S7 to 725mHz. I would probably set the S9 to 600mHz during the first boot in the auto-tune controller.
I feel like I'm wasting hash with a good board sitting around gathering dust. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!!

Minergain, you *do* know that much of what you describe is already available for folks using monitor sw like Awesome Miner or Cryptoglance right? Difference is, the software is running to monitor what goes on with their farms and that is what people care about - not how the whole pool per se is doing though Awesome for one does make a lot of pool into available based on what Kano's API allows.
Being their mine only, no problem telling the monitor app what our API key is since it is for private use as intended. Making that info public - not here bucko!

Yeah, I use Awesome Miner to monitor and maintain my miners. I certainly like it better than going to multiple miner IP web tabs to make changes. And it does provide almost all the information one would be interested in located in one location.
It also gives a per day, per month prediction of what the miners "should" earn. Unfortunately, it doesn't prove to be very accurate with our high variance. It MAY work better on a different type of pool. I WISH its predictions were spot on! I'd be very happy!
Kano, I am coding up various general information about Kano.is right now - plus based on the previous discussion on fees, I just started tracking bytes that need to be confirmed so that we can text / email people when fees are lower to consolidate smaller blocks.
I am hoping to tell what the pool average we would be paid by at this exact moment. Is there a way to calculate that with the information you show on the home page? I know you have the instant hash rate, but I would like to have the PPLNS stored in 5 minute increments as well as the real time hash rate. I suppose I could always estimate it by looking at all the previous 5 minute hashes for the 5Nd that you report on https://kano.is/index.php?k=payout, but that will probably lose a fair bit of accuracy in the translation.
It would also be nice to be able to get the actual payouts from the api. I plan to give the ability to text/email for every block and/or after they make a profit beyond their power and expenses. As it currently stands, I will have to be asking for username, password and 2fa to be able to deliver those details from the Kano site, but most people will not want that information out. If I am understanding your post correctly, I don't think it can be done with any accuracy. A block we find might be 12.5 (with almost no transaction fees the miner earn) or a block with 2, 3 or 4 BTC in transaction fees.
So I think the wide range of block reward could not be accurately predicted.
If I'm misunderstanding your post, sorry about that.

Well, procrastinating (lazy-ass) me has finally switched all of my miners to the NY node. I have intended to do it since its inception, but..... I never bothered to check the ping times. I'm in IT, BTW, so I should know better...
I'm located in Western North Carolina, so it shouldn't be rocket science for me to use the NYA node.

Blockchain.info is showing a hashrate significantly higher than that: about 10.05 EH/s, not 8.4 EH/s. I'm also showing a mins between blocks at 8.46 (should be 10).
I've also heard Bitcoin Wisdom has been having problems recently.

What really sucks with this horrible luck is the upcoming 18% difficulty hike in a little over 2 days.

From what I have seen on a couple of different websites is that the diff will DECREASE aprox 2% and not rise 18%.
Anything can happen between now and then, but I'm hoping the decrease will be the reality.

I would imagine miners as a whole are more IT inclined... I wonder how many of them (us) have miners running AT work?
My boss and the VP of Operations are aware I mine BTC. I think my boss is curious and kind of kicks himself for not buying some when they were under $1,000.
I have thought about a couple miners at work but there really isn't a place where I could get good ventilation and air flow in and out.
The server room, where I work, is kept chilled by AC, but I think any miners in there would quickly raise the room temp. The six servers and two workstations in there don't put out too much heat (amazingly). At least not as much as a few miners.
