Hi, I would like to create a little command line tool which queries a bunch of wallets which I feed it via a text file. End result should be something like this:
Currency/Address/Balance
BTC/1f73d96ab26.....4f923f/0123456
CHSB/0x84752f.....c3456/2345678

Ive started off with a little bash script querying the respective chain explorers with their apis using curl, but those explorers have their limitations as regards the query rate and the reliability. Moreover, not every currency is easy to query, some dont even seem to expose an api.
Is there any multi cryptocurrency library which covers queries to wallets? To me, an ideal call would be something like getbalance(Currency,Wallet). Step 2 would be that such a library would rather query the respective network instead of any explorer.
The language would of course not matter.

Hi, ich habe nach etlichen Seiten Lesen hier im Thread leider immer noch nicht die Antwort auf eine Frage, die mir schon lange vorschwebt, sorry wenn ich diese doch überlesen hätte.
Was, wenn ich mit EUR irgendwelche Coins/Tokens gekauft hätte und nie mehr zu einer Nicht-Kryptowährung zurückkehren würde (EUR/USD/...)? Wie wird das dann besteuert?
Beispiel:
* Kauf von ETH mittels EUR
* Transfer von ETH von Kaufplatz an Börse XY
* Trade: Kauf von XRPETH
* 1 Tag später: XRPETH zurück nach ETH tauschen, ETH-Menge ist nun größer.
Ich finde das knifflig bis unmöglich zu besteuern, weil es ja keine offiziellen Umrechnungskurse/Referenzkurse für Kryptowährungen gibt, anhand derer man eine Bewertung vornehmen könnte. Einen ETHEUR-Kurs von einer Börse zu nehmen, finde ich auch nicht richtig, weil man den Trade ETHEUR ja nicht gemacht hat, wer weiß, wie der ausgegangen wäre, ein limitierter Trade wäre evtl. nicht zur Ausführung gekommen oder ein Markt-Trade wäre evtl. zu einem für den Trader vorteilhafteren oder unvorteilhafteren Preis ausgeführt worden.
Fragen:
1) Muss ich eine solche fiktive Bewertung tatsächlich durchführen oder ist mein Beispiel tatsächlich steuerfrei?
2) Wenn bei 1) ja, darf ich die Transfergebühren von meinem Kaufplatz an die Handelsbörse "XY" dann auch fiktiv bewerten und abziehen? Die dienten dann ja der Gewinnerzielung.
Wie ist Eure Meinung / Euer Wissen dazu?

Hi miners, I have a problem getting my two Gridseed miners properly running under Raspberry Pi for BTC mining.
I've tried minepeon out of the box (version 0.2.4), but neither one of their versions of cgminer/bfgminer seemed to work with those, so I chose to download the latest sources from bfgminer. The only one I can get running is LTC mining via Scrypt.

PS2: Anybody ever tried routing a gridseed miner through esxi?
