The play store now has 2.9.11.7 available, but the direct download from the website still remains unchanged at version 2.8.5.

Well, I finally received a email from support. They explained that they cannot grant my withdrawal after a submitted my Identification Card, a selfie, my Social Security Number, my first name, middle name, last name, my address, my DOB, ....etc.
Did they give you a reason why all that information isn't enough to let you withdraw?
What was the reason, or didn't they give one?

I'd like to put up a new bounty.
I'm not sure what the problem is at BTC-38, however the wallet is 'out of order' and trading is possible but creating a deposit address isn't.. If anyone would like to take this task on to fix it I will offer a 500,000 EAC bounty (1M EAC = 1BTC), so half a bitcoin for your services/time.

have you had any luck with this? My guess is they want to keep outsiders from dumping , trying to control the situation- Otherwise they would have fixed it..
If there's successful 51% attacks occurring BTC-38 won't fix its wallet until the attacks stop for good.

It's okey. I waited for BTC deposit to another exchange for 16 hours. After 15 hours 1 confirmation.
Finally got one of my deposits
But here is another one:

The deposit amount still not credited in my wallet address, while blockchain.info says 25 confirmations already
Sadly that's not unusual for some exchanges. The best ones immediately credit your coins to your account, others make you wait until hours after the transaction is confirmed.
