The coin AIDEN appeared suddenly and I'm wondering how much better (if at all) Script-OG is than X11. Any thoughts?

Is there supposed to be an announcement about Hirocoin today? I swear that I read something like that yesterday, but when I looked back through these posts, I didn't see anything. Maybe it was mentioned on twitter or somewhere else?

Right now everyone should look for non-Scrypt coins as these are the ones that will do well when the Scrypt ASICs hit. Take a quick read of the article on Scrypt and the impact that ASICs will have, there's a bit of history in it for SHA-256 ASIC impact.

Changing landscape for GPU miners

Scrypt-Jane and Adaptive-N give diminishing returns. There is X11 by Evan Duffield which performs better than Scrypt and uses less energy. Take a look at Hirocoin, it is a thoroughly coded and looks to be the new home for GPU miners. When GPU miners look at the cost of mining and factor it in X11 will be the next choice for them, due to the complexity of X11 it will be ASIC free for a long time even if there is another round of ASICs.

I'm super excited about Hirocoin and extremely impressed with all of the positive feedback from people mining the coin, especially the ongoing praise of your work as the developer.

Re: Mazacoin >> PUMPTrain Vol 2

Greetings, I'm https://twitter.com/BTCWhale and you can also read more of my posts here - and I'm currently starting a slowpumping MazaCoin. As many of you know I've made BlackCoin, Spaincoin, and also Mazacoin once before, and sure enough this time Mazacoin will be the least as succesful as it were. Flame me, love or hate me - but as before I give you a fair opportunity to trade upon once the train starts, and not when it's gone on for a while (currently 20+% time of writing). Target - 1000%+. Did 1100% last time.

What interests me is I've spoken to Payu lately (no it isn't insider trading in a decentralized world), and he's having one final meeting (after several) with the President of the Oklala clan in a few days to discuss the last part of their agreements of what is close to be the first cryptocurrency embraced by an ENTIRE country. This would be huge and I'm not one to sit out such a good trading opportunity, the media exposure alone would bring more to the table than my MintPal desposal should they succeed, and the value of Maza is currently extremely cheap for that opportunity.

Politics - I don't believe USA will interfere with indians living in their own piece of land despite it being surrounded by US soils. Solely given their history - if the indians refuse there isn't a whole lot the US would do to stop it.

Some pros: Helping a tribe in poverty and distress by making their initial dollars (pun) worth more would seem the perfect thing to do after Dogecoins made significant contribution to promoting cryptocurrencies itself - making this experiment with a nation embracing cryptocurrencies I'll damn well support it so it gets as succesful as possible so people can change their views towards cryptocurrencies. That being said, a lot of volume is going to be pumped into this in the following 24 hrs - 48. Either way, I'll be eagerly waiting for where it goes. Going about it slow is probably the best for a currency.

EXCHANGES:
www.mintpal.com
www.cryptsy.com
www.cryptorush.in

also I'll respond to flames if I'm bored enough, but feel free to post it nevertheless! Choo choo.

Happy trade!

This didn't really get pumped very high, so if you could give it another shot that would be great, thanks.

Actually, Federally-recognized Native American tribes have a government-to-government relationship with the United States and ARE seen as being sovereign nations.

For all the good it does them ...  Sad

Like I stated, so is California and Texas. The Constitution grants only the Federal government the authority to "coin." There is no exemption to Native Americans outside of treaties. If they had a need for their own currency, they would already have it.

Ummmm, they do mint their own currency.

Mazacoin people -is Payu still alive?
by

As far as I can tell, Payu has been radio silent for days. Has he been to any public events or posted anything official recently? I know he was a scheduled speaker/guest at a BTC meetup a day or 2 ago. Does anyone know if he actually showed up? I haven't seen comments from this event posted anywhere. The complete silence is strange, IMO.

Anything from boxxa is irrelevant.

If Payu isn't a scammer, why has he been radio silent?  Did he even show up to the BTC meetup the other day?

I tried to make a comment on the Mazacoin fb page, but it disappears. That page stopped being active on the 11th.

Does anyone know if Payu is even still alive?

Can somebody please help me download the wallet for Windows? I downloaded the file in the first post, but I don't know what to do with it. I found this in the "users guide":

"Open the archive and extract the folder called "Mazacoin" to your programs folder. On Windows 8 that will be Program Files (x86). Open the Mazacoin directory now in your Program folder and highlight Mazacoin-QT. Right click for a drop down menu and Send To> Desktop to create a convenient desktop icon. Left click on this icon to launch MazaCoin."

Do I need to move the file that I downloaded to "Program Files"? I don't know where to find "Program Files". Can somebody please give me more detailed instructions?

Thank you.

You can put the files wherever you want. When you want to start the Wallet, just click on the Mazacoin QT file.

That was easy. Thank you.

So, how low is this price going to go? I'm ready to buy (more). The first batch that I bought I paid waaaay too much.
