Block time is only designed to average every 10 minutes.

Block time is designed to average 240 seconds or 4 minutes, not 10 minutes.

It's a minor bug (both wallets are trying to use the same rpc port) that both parties should resolve soon (*nudge* *nudge*).

Or you could just run the cli version of the wallets and manually set a different rpc port for each daemon and wallet, without having to wait for the devs to change anything.

Mistakes were made by both sides, and although I have been trying to stay as neutral as possible, it's becoming more and more difficult to do so. The other team has done and keeps doing some incredibly shady sh!t. Apart from the whole premine thing, which is not such a big deal for me as a small bag holder, I can't put my trust again in the words of a developer blatantly lied about the existence of the other developers of the project that turned out to be sock puppets/ghosts and after he was called out he immediately deleted his social media accounts (Twitter). That reminds me of what ICO scammers do when they're preparing to exit scam. Not saying he's a scammer, not saying he isn't either. And to make things even shadier, he's in almost complete radio silence mode since that premine fiasco got exposed. The nail in the coffin was reusing tainted public figures - which I won't name and shame, everyone knows who they are. When something is tainted, you don't use it again, you use something brand new. Not to mention their dictatorship-like moderation style in all their channels: you don't agree with us and worship us, you're one of the others, you're banned.

That doesn't mean that I blindly trust team Ryo as well, they will have to prove themselves but unlike the other team they aren't tainted. And no I have no reason to trust or distrust fireice_uk. Don't know him in person, don't care to know him either. I'll judge him by his actions and the work he produces. Not by what he says or by what other people say about him. He's certainly set the bar high though.

Now to the actual Ryo stuff, I read somewhere, maybe it was here or on TG about the weaknesses of RingCT being exploited in the not so distant future or something like that. I lack the knowledge to comprehend the nature and function and inner workings of RingCT, but I hope it's somewhere in your roadmap to keep anonymity intact at all costs. Lately with all the blockchain analysis that's been happening, I think that coins with non-transparent blockchains will be on the rise. Before the split sumo was my go to anon coin, I want to be sure I can expect the same privacy and more with Ryo.

As for Craptopia that many people keep complaining about, they just keep getting worse and worse, being consistently inconsistent as always, saying they'll do something on date x and not delivering. Glad I got my sh!t out of that poor excuse of an exchange long ago, I feel bad for those who have lots of coins locked up in there.

Cheers and keep on developing.

Also, do not have any live testing of annyone trying the bitmain cryptonight miner on cryptonight heavy, its easily possible it can do all from 5 to 30 kh/s and i believe alot of the network has been some of that.

Do we have any here who tried cryptonight heavy on these asics? cause so far it seems like a fine secret to not give out any info on that, a rx vega does 1450 wiith HBCC and rx580 does 850 so if these asics does 5000 to 30 000 that'd be broken and needs RYO to get a new algorythm once again for gpu's.

also where is Nv gpu miner for this?

If you go to RYO's Telegram channel, you can see fireice's opinion about asics and the need for algorithm changes in the chat history. With that said, if you search bitcointalk, you can find reports of people using FPGAs for currently asic resistant algos including for example some cn variants. How much of that is true, I can't tell yet, but it's definitely interesting.

whoa!? what's happening to the price?

It's going to be bumpy for a while. There's still a lot of bad blood between the communities, and many people are just rage selling/dumping. Eventually things will smooth out.

Since it was announced in the latest PR release that Cryptopia isn't being considered for a listing in the forseeable future, maybe you should consider removing it from the list of planned exchanges in the first post.

still trying to decide where to go when the asics kick in, leaning a little toward cryptnight lite v1, or a variant thereof to run better on phones/craptops.

Lol, asics are already destroying your network.https://imgur.com/a/vEAFWQh

Don't know if Crex24 is any good, doesn't look like it, there's not much liquidity, Ogre is much better imo. Anyway I won't be using them since I'm not planning to buy or sell, I'll just keep mining, but please do not consider a listing on craptopia in the future.

Has anyone been able to successfully withdraw their coins to their own wallet from Craptopia in the past 24-48 hours?

I'm asking because my withdrawal which was stuck for a freaking month didn't go through, but luckily it got cancelled for some reason (no response to my support ticket whatsoever though) and they say I should try again.

I obviously don't trust them at all at this point, and there's no way I'm keeping anything on that shit exchange anymore. Lesson learned.

But since I really don't want to sell my SUMO, did anyone manage to successfuly withdraw their SUMO from Craptopia to their wallets in the past 1-2 days?
Otherwise I'll just have to sell and cash out in BTC or whatever still works on that shit exchange.

The problem isn't the number of exchanges really. It's that's the main exchange for this coin is Craptopia. What's the use when you buy a bunch of Sumokoin and you can't withdraw it it to your own wallet because Craptopia's withdrawal system is broken and they have no idea when the problem will be rectified?

Do Sumo a favor and ditch this poor excuse of an exchange on the first chance you get. The sooner, the better.

In recent sumo dip I bought it on Cryptopia and withdrew to my wallet three times. All three times no problem. Arrived in ~20-30 min.

Either you were lucky, or I got the short straw. My withrdawal has been stuck at "Processing" on that crappy exchange for the 5th day now through no fault of my own. And according to them support tickets have a waiting time of 20 days before they're even looked at. So yeah, I'd welcome a more reliable exchange in their place.

coinmarketcap is definitely the first step

Coinmarketcap only lists coins that have a minimum of 50000 US $ of trading volume on an exchange. Until this happens with MSR, coinmarketcap will not list it.

How can this be?

Pool 9 H/s gets everything?

That's not even a Masari pool to begin with. It's a pool for some coin called Soldi or something. Difficulty is currently 2172. Everything you see would make sense if you bothered to look a bit deeper.

Congrats to the devs on the progress, I've been silently watching and mining for quite a while.

Quick question to the devs. Is there any way to use a custom daemon IP address for the GUI wallet to connect to? In my case I have the daemon running 24/7 on my Raspberry Pi 3, and I want to use the GUI wallet on different computers on my LAN without having to download the blockchain on each computer. I'd like to make the GUI wallet connect to the daemon running on the RPi instead of running a new instance locally. So far, I've had to use the cli wallet for that. Is that possible, or am I missing something obvious? If not, maybe make it a feature for the next version of the wallet?

Ah and I just saw you guys fixed the ARMv7 issue, someone beat me to it. Keep up the good work.
