web wallet does not work?

Download the source from their github and you can run it locally.  There is no need to compile anything since it is all HTML/JavaScript code that runs in your browser. You'll likely need to change the two blockchain explorer address in the js/index.js file from "explorer.myhush.network" to "explorer.myhush.org" for it to see your balance correctly.  With that change I've run it locally and successfully sent and received HUSH.  See  github.com/MyHush/myhushwallet  for source. Hope this helps.

Whoever has been mining to address t1aSJdKYaBdamYppkABcatDneR2CTWVfPzz , stop doing so.  Your brainwallet pass-phrase is weak and easily guessed.  Pick a strong pass-phrase.

is there a way to take back my hush that was in the web wallet or is it lost?  Cry

You can download the webwallet source from GitHub and run it locally.  It is in HTML/JavaScript so there's no need to compile anything.  It always ran locally in your browser anyway -- it was just hosted online.

See  github.com/MyHush/myhushwallet  for source.

Any plans for when you will be able to encrypt the wallet? Seems strange, that is not possible. Never heard of any other local wallet, that cannot be encrypted.

Hush is a fork of Zcash.  Wallet encryption is disabled in Hush because it is disabled in the parent Zcash code-base.

As someone who doesn't hold any IOTA I'd like to say I 100% trust CfB's explanation of the Curl-P flaw as copy protection against scammers.  When CfB wrote NXT he intentionally introduced flaws to do the same for that system.  Eventually, he held a contest to allow the community to find and reveal those flaws.  It was a great way to get members of the community to understand the code and what NXT was doing while protecting NXT in the early days from rip-off artists.  Of course he'd do the same to protect IOTA.

Just my 2 cents.

FYI, Bittrex is contemplating delisting XCP:

"This market is in danger of de-listing due to low trade volume and lack of user interest. It may be removed on May 15th unless the average daily trade volume for the last 7 days exceeds 0.2 BTC."

Comments are welcome, provided they stay relatively sane.
Also: http://www.drachmae.info/index.php/Talk:Main_Page

From the WIKI:
"The aim of this WIKI is to support a white paper and project think tank looking to see if a viable working real life solution can be delivered to help Greece with their real world problems. An open invite has been put out to the Crypto and wider technical community to understand how block chain technology can be used to provide a working solution."

This is a pretty cool project.  Thanks for the link.

Knowedgeable NEM users, input on the talk page in regards to NEM would be nice.

Call me a Syscoin advocate, but wasn't Syscoin's Blockmarket the world's first decentralized marketplace?

Or is Bitbay currently open for public use?

Don't forget Nxt Marketplace (aka Digital Goods Store) in the Nxt core and the Freemarket add-on.

http://nxtfreemarket.com/

Each of these projects (BitBay, Syscoin, Nxt, and other blockchain based market places) should know about each other.  Competition is good and hopefully will result in a better over-all user experience in the long run.

I found this other address in his first transaction, it has a negative balance of 10 bn coins:

Account NAS-MRCC-2YLS-8M54-3CMAJ Info
The account has a balance of -9'999'999'999 NAS

Can anybody explain it?

It's the genesis account. That is the account that distributed all the coins into the NAS system.  It is negative because the total number of coins in NAS is zero.

I don't know the answers to your questions.  I only just remembered that I had ran the NAS client and bought some coins back in April of last year, so I was curious as to the health of the coin.

Do you remember when was the last time you ran the NAS client?  If you run it now, do you connect to any peers?

My copy of the NAS blockchain is nearly a year old, and the two peers I have in my client's list are apparently no longer running the software.

If your blockchain is relatively up to date, could you zip it up and share it on mega (https://mega.co.nz/) or dropbox?  I'd like to take a forensic look at the NAS blockchain.

Thanks.

The last peer i've seen disappeared begin/mid January, no other peer seen/connected to since.

That's a shame.

An relatively up to date blockchain could be downloaded from here:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/hkfu37o0xowedjd/nas_db_25012015.zip

Thanks man!  Much appreciated.

Is NAS still traded on some exchanges?

Yes, unfortunately.  There are still people with sell orders on Bter and BTC38.  Although it seems the last trade on Bter was a month ago (12-20 22:36:23 Sell 0.00000001 4521570.000 0.04522.)

P.S. You might want to take a look there:

Would CoinMarketCap consider including trading info from the Coinomat exchange?  The API info can be found at:

https://coinomat.com/api.php

And according to the docs there, they trade BTC, LTC, PPC, NXT and others.

Which is why borrowing state becomes an option for someone wishing to attack a POS coin.

So where can one lend large amounts of PoS coins?

Nxt allows balance leasing.  The coins stay with the original account, but the PoS power goes to whom the balanced is leased to.   One Nxt is a simulated Bitcoin mining rig so think of it as a simulation of a Bitcoin pool.

Hmmm....if I get some spare time I'll fire up a NAS node and see how the network looks.

I wasn't able to connect to any peers.  You have any better luck?

I don't know. All my NAS are on dgex and some are on the way. Can somebody do something? Will running winnas help? Maybe dgex owner can help?
It's very strange that the coin died. Somebody could just buy a lot of NAS at 1 satoshi and then revive the coin, lead it and get a huge profit. It is still on some popular exchanges and nobody against any ideas or moves.

CoinmarketCap still shows the Chinese exchange Nxt-e for a couple coins:

http://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/nxt-e/

That exchange shut down a few weeks ago.

Why did they shut down?

No one was trading there.

First a clone and then nxt with a more strong network would be great, keep us informed of your intentions and ask for leasing in the nxt forum if you decide to try it

I currently only own about 20K NXT but I'd lease my forging rights to cynicSOB if he wants to try attacking Nxt's PoS.
