I didn't expect Beşiktaş to suffer such a defeat. Shakhtar aren't weak, but Beşiktaş had a much better chance of winning at home. Unfortunately, they didn't make it this time; they need to play much better in the next match.
Conceding four goals was a real disappointment for them. The squad isn't bad at all, but it showed they're not ready for the season yet

The current odds could change quite often until the new season starts. Just like it's happening nowadays...

Currently Liverpool have left their place to PSG on being top favourites for the title.  Grin  It's like 6.00 vs 7.00. Real Madrid and Barcelona follow them with 8.00 odds.

New transfers can also have an impact on these odds later. Just look at PSG though. They won the CL for the first time in club history and it was enough to convince bookies for a back-to-back.

These betting odds will change for a much longer time. No major transfers have been made yet, and we'll see much more significant transfers, and perhaps the strengths of the teams will change even more.

The squads won't be compatible, and we'll see many teams disappoint once the season starts. Once the season starts, the betting odds will change again. At first glance, we think PSG or Real Madrid will win the title, but we might change our minds in two months Cheesy

Get ready for Premier League transfer records to happen in this transfer window. £120M or more would be a fantastic transfer fee and most recently, Liverpool seem to be doing a deal with Newcastle United to discuss Isak wanting to move and Liverpool the goal according to some sources on the internet.

If that happens, Liverpool is doing something out of the ordinary.
£265M has been spent by Liverpool in spending 4 players.
If Isak's price is £120M, then the total is £385M.

120 million euros is a truly huge sum of money. I don't think it makes sense for this player to be valued that much. He may be the team's star player, but if a player is worth over 100 million, I think he should be capable of much greater things. I don't think he'll be a good player statistically.

The latest transfer rumors have mentioned 140 million euros for Isak. Even players like Ronaldo and Griezmann have transferred for less than that Cheesy

Re: 2025 NBA Season
by

There's going to be serious competition in the West again. A lot of teams strengthened themselves this off-season.

The Thunder kept most of their championship core together. The Rockets got stronger by adding Durant. The Lakers brought in Smart and Ayton. The Nuggets solved their depth problem by adding Bruce Brown, Cam Johnson, Tim Hardaway Jr. and Valančiūnas. The Clippers signed Beal, Chris Paul, Brook Lopez, and Collins.

All these teams, which finished in the top five last year, made these upgrades without losing any key players from their rosters. It's going to be a very tough battle in the West.

I'm confident the quality of basketball will improve next season, and it will be a fun season to watch. Considering both the teams' improved rosters and the Pacers' style of play, I feel like we're returning to the NBA era of the 2000s.
Of course, the rules are different, and we're thinking of this place as a company now, but perhaps a year filled with hope awaits us. I'm especially curious to see what the Rockets will do. Alperen Şengün and Durant will be really good together Smiley

Hakan Çalhanoğlu's agent said, "We haven't had any talks with the clubs mentioned in Türkiye. He said Hakan's transfer to Türkiye is out of the question."
He said Hakan would stay at Inter.
Either the agent is lying, or the Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe executives are.
All the sports channels talked about Hakan returning to Türkiye, but his agent said something different.
This is one of the things that bothers me the most.
When multiple clubs are interested in a player, ridiculous situations like this can arise.

Sometimes, some agents do things like this to raise their players' prices, and we might be seeing a similar scenario here. I don't like this situation at all. If there haven't been any talks between them and Turkish clubs, why are there so many transfer rumors?
Let him decide what's best for his career, but players whose names are involved in so many transfer rumors usually leave the team. I'd be very amused if he transferred to a team worse than the Turkish ones Cheesy

Do you think Rockets have a chance for their 3rd NBA championship in team history after a really long break? I mean whether they have a chance next season.

Those 2 titles were achieved by a back-to-back in 1994 and 1995. Ever since they couldn't win anything. Signing KD is a good step taken for it. After filling Jalen Green's space too maybe they can fight for it next time.

I also want Houston to win a championship thanks to Alperen, but it won't be easy.
Kevin will definitely strengthen Houston, but winning the championship won't be easy.
My favorite team next year will be Oklahoma again.
There's also uncertainty surrounding LeBron in Los Angeles.
Indiana will only make the playoffs without Haliburton, at best, and nothing more.
Oklahoma still has the strongest roster right now, but injuries will be decisive throughout the season.

I'd love for the Rockets to win a championship; it would be truly amazing for Alperen Şengün to win a championship ring. But we have to be realistic.
They're incredibly difficult to win, and Alperen can't do it alone. He's had good teamwork, but unfortunately, his impact fades when facing strong opponents in the playoffs. If they want to win the championship, they absolutely need to bring in a few more good players Smiley

Selling Vinicius Jr. wouldn't solve the problems, because he's a top-quality player, and Real Madrid would be unlikely to find another player of his caliber. If they wanted to sign him, they'd have to pay a very high transfer fee. Therefore, Xabi Alonso must do his part to the best of his ability and maintain a balance between the players. In this case, the team wins.
Are you always willing to seeing Madrid to always rely upon him and his skill? If he performs well, that's acceptable what if he performs badly like the previous games? Come on man! Madrid needs more than one player to shine again. They're a club, and must be working as a team, not rely upon individual.
They can't have two suns in the same club . That's it.

Things don't go well when there are several players playing the same position on the same team. Competition should increase quality, but it negatively impacts player motivation, so I don't like star players playing together.
Any player who doesn't contribute to the team can leave; at least they'll contribute financially. With this budget, the team could acquire several more valuable players Smiley

Re: Chances to buy Bitcoin back

It's very difficult to buy back after selling. If you sell now, you'll see the price rise slightly in a few days. When you decide to buy, the price will start to fall again, and as a result, you'll be the one losing money.
If you're considering selling now, I recommend not monitoring the price of Bitcoin for too long. You'll find that it rises after you sell, and you won't make a profit.
You can buy it back again in a few months, or even a year or two, and you could make a substantial profit doing so Smiley

In a few days, we are going to have the second qualification round games.

The most attracting matchup to me is Besiktas - Shakhtar. The Ukrainian side started the season much earlier. They have been training hard for weeks and already played official games in the Europa League as well. Arda Turan's methods have changed the team into a more powerful one. Maybe the old Shakhtar could be back too but still early to say that. On the other hand. Besiktas aren't ready in terms of many aspects (signings, form etc.). This is why I don't think they will be able to continue on their way in this tournament.  Tongue

Beşiktaş isn't exactly ready, but Shakhtar isn't one of the best teams in the world either. I'm feeling a bit optimistic about this; I still think Beşiktaş is a stronger team than Shakhtar. Also, Arda Turan doesn't inspire much confidence in me for some reason Cheesy Beşiktaş will be the winner of this match.

If such a match were to take place a month from now, I'd be certain Beşiktaş would win. Right now, it's still a bit of a challenge. Still, I think we're in for a good match

Re: Biggest Bitcoin holder

Elon Musk isn't really interested in Bitcoin if I should say so, so buying the number of Bitcoin to rival that of Satoshi will just mean he wants to do that for publicity stunt and nothing else. Satoshi will keep increasing in wealth because Bitcoin will keep surging. Now that Satoshi is in the wind, we can't speculate if they would add to their holdings but for the time being, I think the title of biggest Bitcoin holder would still go to Satoshi Nakamoto.

How do you know that he is not interested in bitcoin ? Do you have exact idea of what exact coins he is holding  ?

Think back to the last three years. Musk is currently one of the most disliked figures among cryptocurrency investors. Even Trump is more popular; he can at least provide support to investors and have a positive impact on prices. Musk, on the other hand, is not. People no longer want him to talk about cryptocurrencies and are uncomfortable with it.

When bull season comes, he starts talking, makes money from it, and then sells everything. And then, lo and behold, he stops talking at all Smiley

The problem will be on the hosting site and I don't think that is discriminate. If you want to buy a site and hosting, you can use Paypal to buy instead use your card which that can give you trouble.
I don't have a problem use my Paypal to buy something because I never use my card to buy something on the internet. Too risky for me because I heard about many cases about abusing the cards. But it is a good news if you can finally buy a site using Bitcoin.

Unfortunately, PayPal is also banned in some countries. It might be one of the most absurd things in the world; there are countries where one of the world's largest payment methods isn't allowed, like Turkey Smiley

That's exactly why I love Bitcoin. It stands up to prohibition; no one can block or harm it. It enables the creation of a vast network between governments, technology, and people, and even if the government doesn't want it, it can still be used

Hugo Ekitike will not score 20+ goals this season. Which means that they are spending 110 million give or take on the first year for transfer fee + salary. They could have gotten Osimhen for the same money, you mean to tell me Ekitike worths more than Osimhen? That makes no sense and he definitely doesn't. They could have spent less to get better players, they just wasted a ton of money for no reason.

Liverpool made a huge mistake with this deal, I am sure of it, they are going to not see his mistakes and issues over course of just one game, but after a while, he is going to be like a Nunez deal. Liverpool won the title twice without a proper striker, so maybe they will do it again, but they seriously need a good striker one of these years.

I think he's a player who can't be compared to Osimhen. Until a few years ago, he wasn't even mentioned by such clubs, but suddenly, he's become a valuable asset. It's quite surprising that such a sum is being paid; 90 million is a very high price. Many different players could be transferred after paying that much.
His value has truly increased while playing for Frankfurt, and he's already on the transfer radar of major clubs. Still, I think even 40-50 million would be too expensive for him

There's also a clause preventing Osimhen from being sold to Italian clubs for two years. Osimhen won't be able to play against Napoli. Of course, there's no such clause. The transfer wasn't fully finalized until the signings were made, but it was breaking news. It was a major payment for Galatasaray.

So, even though the debt wasn't fully paid upfront, Osimhen still has a hefty payment to make. I hope this money helps Galatasaray achieve its desired success in Europe.

They made a risky investment, and I find it surprising that Galatasaray spent such a large sum. If the expected success doesn't come in Europe, we'll see that we made a very bad investment. I just don't know how justified it is to pay such a large sum for a player like Osimhen.
Osimhen is a very good player and performed quite well last season. I hope he's even better this year. Galatasaray's goal won't be to win the league championship, but to enhance its reputation in Europe

Re: 21 million BTC, is it enough?

One thing that has made Bitcoin has value this way is the limited supply that it has meaning that Bitcoin will be totally mind to the last tiniest bit one good thing about Bitcoin is that you don't need to own a whole Bitcoin you can start your Bitcoin journey where you are because owning a Bitcoin is not ment only for the rich as you can own Bitcoin in fractions as you builds your Bitcoin one way that people can invest in Bitcoin is through strategic investment plan where a person will invest small amount of money in a project over time

There will undoubtedly be an imbalance in the supply-demand balance in the coming years, which is why I love bitcoins limited value. In the long run, it will always continue to generate income. Just as the world will one day run out of gold reserves, so too will bitcoin. Or, just as a different energy system will be developed 50 years from now, it will maintain its value.
That's why it's something everyone should own, even if it's a small amount. When we're talking about millions of dollars, we absolutely must hold bitcoin to avoid regret Smiley

It's actually best not to look at your wallet information at all. When we do, we see the value of the contents and want to sell them to buy things like houses and cars. The regret of anyone who has invested in Bitcoin for many years is selling the amount they previously held. This applies to all of us.
If we hadn't sold at all, we would have millions of dollars, and anything we sell now will be deeply regretted in a few years. That's why we must keep working hard and never stop investing Smiley

Marseille has announced the return of Aubameyang.  Smiley

https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1946497904912314480

According to the source, the deal is until June 2027. After playing for the Saudi side Al-Qadsiah FC for only 1 year, he is back in European football...

He played for Marseille two years ago. He got impressive stats like 30 goals, 11 assists in 51 games. Great for a 34-year-old player. Now he is 36 and stayed away from Europe for a year. Hopefully he can still make a good contribution again.

Players who return to Europe after playing in Saudi Arabia typically perform quite poorly. After moving there to earn money, they often neglect training, don't value the team, and, with age, reach the end of their careers. Now he's returning to Europe.
I don't know how he'll play, but he could be a valuable asset to the team. We can observe his contributions to the team without expecting too much Smiley

United is interested in Nicolas Jackson from Chelsea. I am sure it would be a terrible transfer, no idea why they want him, considering how terrible he has done. Hojlund could score that many goals, it is not like Nicolas had any better season. They need a prolific scorer and so far they do not have any candidates even.

That is the thing about United, they are not getting the known famous good players, they are making moves based on premier league stats so far this season. They saw Cunha and Mbuemo have good stats in premier league and bought. Think of the worst possible way of transferring players, which would be looking at their football manager or FIFA ratings and then buy accordingly, even THAT would be better transfer method than what United is doing.

United needs to sign much better players. We know the kind of squad and level of play the club has had in recent years; they need to build a much better squad. Otherwise, there's no way this team can reach a good level. If they consider finishing among the top 10 teams in the league a success, they can continue with this squad. But the team needs significant changes as soon as possible. They need to sign a European-class striker; they'll continue to struggle in the Premier League Smiley

Is it true that Fenerbahçe is interested in Hakan Çalhanoğlu recently? Huh It would be a great move to consolidate the midfield. But the main problem is going to be his transfer fee. His market value is €30m and Inter doesn't want to drop too much from that level.

We are about to add Asensio and Škriniar to our squad officially. Both of them are going to make a lot of money. Škriniar already deserves it after a solid effort last season. And we will find out how Asensio will perform. He has talent undoubtedly.

Hakan Çalhanoğlu's arrival at Fenerbahçe would be great news for Fenerbahçe. But why would Hakan want to come here? He's still a player who could play for many clubs in Europe, so if he were to agree to join Fenerbahçe, it would be one of the worst decisions he could make for his career. He could play in Italy for at least another two or three years.
If he came to Türkiye at 35, every team would want to sign him anyway. I think he should earn a little more money and continue playing internationally

Rodrygo was one of the most useful players last season. I don't understand why he was left out when Alonso arrived.
I didn't see him at the Club World Cup. I thought he was injured, but it turns out he was in a different situation.
If he's not in Real's plans, Rodrygo leaving would be beneficial for him. Many clubs would want him. If he wants to leave, there are plenty of clubs in the Arabian League interested in him.
He's a useful player, but as far as I can tell, he doesn't fit into Alonso's system.

They're considering a transfer option to raise money for the team. To be honest, he's still a player worth a lot of money, and many teams will want to sign him. They're currently talking about €100 million. There were transfer rumors with Barcelona in the past, but Barcelona can't afford that much; he might as well go to the English league.
He's still too young to play in Arab countries; I don't think he'll make a decision that would end his career
