Yes I'm a noob in the excitin new world of crypto currency. I'll be happy with 400. Keep a little for teaching me something.

Unfortunately it REALLY wasnt me. There is however hope for you.. a lot of those codes they send out dont even work.. yours could have been one of those and in that case theyd still be required to send you another code. Hopefully thats the case

TO ANYONE WHO HAS AN ISSUE AND IS POSTING HERE. PLEASE PAY HUGE ATTENTION TO WHAT YOU ARE POSTING. IF YOU RECEIVED AN EMAIL FROM BITINSTANT, THERE MAY BE A APIRESPONSE CODE AT THE BOTTOM. This code is what gives you your funds on mtgox[/b][/size] If you post this publicly, YOU WILL BE ALLOWING ANYONE ON THIS FORUM TO TAKE YOUR MONEY. I have seen this for a couple of people now. I was succesfully able to help out one person by stealing the code before anyone else could. I then contacted this person with a newly generated code that I made and he received his funds. He has stated that everything went smoothly as seen below

It's something called caring maybe? Sorry I want to be a good person and try to help people out on the forums. If you took it, it would be great if you sent him a PM with a new code. You don't need to tell anyone you took it or anything, because I'm sure he will be thrilled that he has it back. These forums are meant to help people. Not steal the money of people who are just trying to get a little bit of help.

nah it wasnt me lol. i probably would have ended up returning (most of  Wink) it. not that immoral.

Ive been waiting for my 1.8 BTC to show up for a week now.

30 hours logged on this forum attempting to get my case resolved, tens of emails and PMs sent.. called the hotline multiple times..

URSAY, the customer service guy on these forums actually told someone "If you dont stop being mean to me I'm just not going to help you"... BitInstant has piss poor customer service.

I deposited over 2hundred on Tuesday of last week, have logged nearly 30 hours on this forum in the support thread and still havent received my coins or any timetable on when my coins will be sent.

Today I gave up and am just in the process of writing a detailed summary of everything thats happened so I can post it on every BTC related forum

I implore anyone who has an issue worthy of a lawsuit to contact me.

Charlie

My issue may not be worthy of a lawsuit from a monetary standpoint, but I've been waiting 6 days for something I paid for. I have sent you a personal email just now, and have sent you and URSAY both plenty of PMs over the past few days.

I need my bitcoins.

Please tone down the language and treat me with respect or I will simply refuse to help you.  I am not here to take your abuse.  I understand you are frustrated and I take it in ALL DAY and NIGHT.  If you are reasonable with me then I will treat you the same.  Smiley

Again I have no personal issues with you, but DAMN... have you ever heard the phrase "the customer is always right"? I'd certainly hope that someone in the customer service line of work would have that attitude. (and I strongly doubt your boss would approve of that statement you made)

Im not on the 4/8 support list but I'd really really hope you guys would be working on my case (even though I know you're not) considering my order was placed on the 2nd of April. It's extremely difficult to remain civil and patient when it has been 145x longer than your site advertises and I STILL have no bitcoins.

This is really not a difficult issue at all... I paid money, now all you have to do is send me bitcoins.

You're saying you are swamped and things are taking longer than usual, but you have spent much more time sending me messages falsely assuring me that you're working on getting my case resolved than it would have taken to just send me the bitcoins. This means you either don't have any bitcoins to send, or you are simply ripping me off purposefully.

As I've mentioned many times before.  This is not the case.  We are working on your issue.  Thanks for your patience.  Smiley

I don't want to hear the same bullshit line repeated over and over again. Its been almost a week now, I want my coins.

If I don't have them by the end of today I am going to have to start filing formal complaints and publishing my grievances on all the BTC forums. I really dislike being this way, but I have no choice at this point.

You have not provided me with any update to my ticket so I honestly feel like I am in the same spot i was in before posting here with a simple false sense of security that something is being done.

Pretty much lol.. its been a week for me and all I get every day is "we are looking into your issue, please be patient"

Absolutely no updates and absolutely no progress.

That would be acceptable if I hadn't provided the info in my original post....,.no?

I appreciate your swamped but....I think if you had a lot of personal funds taken from you with no explanation...you might not be so confrontational!

And why is it that there are so many people with the same problem....Doing a transaction and the money is removed from the source...ie MtGox....so that you have it and then it's tied up for many days with no access except for BitInstants.....who are free to use it for that time
ponzi scheme

New to Bitcoin?  There's a lot to learn!  Please do your research before you suggest such things.  Thanks!  Cheesy
From the outside the only reasonable explanation for the INSUFFICIENT FUNDS issue and people having to wait DAYS for their money is that bitinstant is using new money to fund old transactions. There could be a perfectly reasonable explanation for these issues but since one hasnt been provided we can only assume.

I truly dont care either way as long as I get my coins though  Wink
