Take special notice of the bits around mobile. Personally, I don't like the idea of having some sort of RFID thing that can be used for purchases or my fingerprint because conversely it can be used to track everything I do, but the average Joe is all too happy to trade freedom for convenience, and I have to keep reminding myself when I think of cryptos my views don't reflect the vast majority's views.
This is all food for thought when we consider where to place our efforts in this platform. I have been banging the mobile drum the whole time and will continue to do so. When you can "bump" your phone with your buddy to get him/her back for the beer they got you or whatever, people will use it like crazy. Look, even if you don't replace fiat, if folks can use it in leiu of fiat while out clubbing or whatever and deal with the back conversion at home it will be huge. Much easier than fussing with your bank or cash or whatever while you our out. How often do people have to track the IOUs while out with friends? Who doesn't have a mobile? Solve that problem with tools already in the toolkit and it will jump in value against fiat as its usefulness as a "wooden nickel" system becomes obvious. I think grass roots is much more likely to succeed in this particular aspect as opposed to some sort of "forced" centralized big bank approach (the discussion earlier about Amazon's p2p currency) because it feels lax which is perfect for a "social" currency.

What are you guys doing?you are making too much of this and continuing the sock puppet debate because of what.6 measly accounts and a few socks on another coin?. That utopian future was more than happy with the stakeholder list. The recasting feature of NTX coin seems very interesting. NTX is a Chinese branch of NXT.
RECASTING Feature: Prevents the inflation of the block chains and makes the anonymity of the coin untraceable. Recycle some lost forever coins after a few rounds of recasting.
Will NEM include such features? If not, is it possible to add RECASTING feature to NEM?

I think it is a good feature which will definitely benefit NEM. Devs should consider to add this feature to NEM.

in the case Chancecoin seems to be broken at the very moment - it's my fault. Unexpected maintenance on the server which CHA uses for a subset of all blockchain related queries. This may affect unspent outputs and balances.
I expect it to be finished in about 6-8 hours.

i updated the NXT client to 1.1.4 and checked if i received my NEM stake token. And it was right there. But in the right upper corner you have ´send nxt´ and ´send message´.
It seems that these are two separate things. Is it possible to send nxt coins with a message attached to it? (Like an invoice number).

I can only say what was told to people last night. Maybe there is some confusion over when you can invest and when you can actually use Ethereum because that's Q4.
I'm pretty sure you can still sell, but you can't use ether so you would sell your investment rather than your actual ether. If that makes sense.
As an investment it's going to be very risky for a lot of reasons. I'll be interested to see what they put together for the actual offer.
So, how can I sell it? any exchange available at that time?

Please dont complain with DEVs. There are working so hard for the coin. I dont receive many coins only 1000, but I believe they are trying their best to find a solution. If I dont receive the coin anymore, I wont complain since it is free anyway.

Correct, what people would be buying is actual Ether, not testnet Ether, therefore what is purchased would be listed on exchanges/tradeable only at the start of the mainnet in Q4.

You do not understand the complexity of the problem, look at the other clones NXT at the moment there are no results. We want to quickly launch the project, we already have the results. You think really run the project with 20-30 days.

ZC is definitely a good stuff as it could keep the coin to real private and not able to be tracked.
ZC team actually created nice report to IEEE and many reports regarding its concept.
So, I would also suggest Dev team could consider it to add it to NEM.
