对于此前泄露的内部讨论方案，也是基于以上观点进行设计的。保持区块数据不变，在POW机制基础上增加限制，此方案被参与内部讨论的人称为了POW2.0（此方案是我自己的思考，并且没有对外公开，如果有兴趣一起参与讨论的，可以给我发邮件ifc@1e9.cc）。
在全世界都在提倡环保节能的时候，可能更节能的（POW2.0）会更受欢迎，也可能会让IFC在如此多的币的世界中一点与众不同的特点，或是一个创举。
这个文章没有试图说服谁，也不评论现有任何的共识机制。仅仅告诉大家不要站在片面的角度看待问题。
