Guessing from the truncation of the debug log, the “Afterburner” PoB processing thread seems to create a problem on some Windows systems.

Following up on this, I noticed an earlier post of mine on the same topic in which I speculated that the C99 macro replacement might be an issue - I think it might well be. Upon close inspection, elsewhere in the code the PRI64u macro for nEffectiveBurnCoins is replaced by llu, rather than just the u in the print statement (that's 'cos it's a long long unsigned int, I kid you not) which is, suspiciously, exactly where things grind to a halt. So, even moar ells are required by the looks of it. I can't get the cross-compiler to work on this new Mint system, so I need to switch back to the old laptop, make the change, cross-compile a Windows binary, switch back to the new laptop, fire up the Windows VM, grab the binary and start it up, import a privkey with a burn tx recorded and see if it falls over. Here's hoping.

Cheers

Graham
if you need it compiled for windows I can try if the dependency list isnt crazy to get working.

Today i burned some mined coins. After reboot burn info vanished.
{
"Net Burnt Coins" : 0.00000000,
"Effective Burnt Coins" : 0.00000000,
"Immature Burnt Coins" : 0.00000000,
"Decayed Burnt Coins" : 0.00000000
},
Is it normal?
weird it happened after reboot, when I switched wallets I had to resync the whole chain to get mine back, takes about 3 days to resync on ssd. might wanna start that as you dont get burn rewards if wallet isnt synced or off.

I think there may be a fork, wallet is about 30 blocks behind and says up to date, vs coininfo at market. and what i sent to the market isnt being seen.
deleted my chain info and resyncing, what do  ya know, my burn coins are back at least for now during resync.

Not too sure as the calc and the site are down. but I had checked it a few times over the course of a few months, and always appeared to say the same. But I really cant say.

Hello everyone, I can not find a calculator for PoB. Today the rate has fallen dramatically (thank you Nova) and I decided to try this algorithm. But I can not count how much burning will bring me coins.
Basically you will make back what you burned in 6 months and about 2x in 12 months.

So because the old qt worked with POB and new one had issues I saved my old wallet as a backup and made a new one for use with the newer qt. I forgot that I burned alot on my original one. So i went back to the old qt and old wallet which hasnt been on for a little and it appears all my burn coins are gone. Why is that? would deleting the blockchain files restore that. The burnt coin info all show 0.
Shame the exchange is going down, any sights on another, maybe coinsmarket?

Is a static IP address mandatory for operating my own masternode?

If so, can I run the masternode also in a Linux console wallet or do I have to rent a virtual server with Windows?
Generally your ip gives you a static ip address, you can check by looking up your ip in google, and see if it changes over time, if it doesnt then you have a static ip. open up the firewall port to the masternode port and you should be good.

Re: Push pull or both for air vent for mining room
by

Oh dang. Thanks for the input guys. Cheesy . I will probably get another fan and do a push pull. The room is a small 10x8 in the basement. I will try to get air blowing from the basement into the room and vented out... problem being I would want the basement door closed (access is from the outside of the house to the basement. so the air wouldn't be as cold as outside.

So the red circle is the fan I already have. And here is the "plan".  So I shouldn't really have to worry about condensation on the rigs?

The fan by the gpus will be the more normalized/ambient air from the basement. (or would it work better to have the fan by the gpus pull air to the basement? It will probably be a smaller fan. (The window fans are 14" 1400cfm, i think. The fan by the gpus will probably be a small house style fan.)

Push pull or both for air vent for mining room
by

on 18/10/2017, 07:11:25 UTC
Hey guys,
I wanted some input on how to orient fans for my mining room. I have 1 14" duct fan blowing out the window right now, and was looking at getting a second one. Would it help to have the fan blow cold air in? or keep it blowing hot air out? Or would one blowing in and one blowing out work well? Would that be too humid and cause condensation on the equipment? It'll probably be less than 40 degrees out here consistently in 2-3 weeks and have about 8000 watts of heat dissipating at the moment.
Thanks.

(They always wanted a DASH-Clone, I want to create tools (spreadwallet, spreadminer, testnet-in-a-box) so I can solve the puzzle of creating a truly decentralized network of servicenodes)

So the main question is will work continue with spread? I would love to see it move forward and have masternodes on its mainnet.

Cryptopia totally screwed me.  I tried to withdraw SPR and the withdrawals show as "complete" in Cryptopia but there is absolutely no record of them in the blockchain explorer for SPR. Lying bastards.  What to do?

Same thing here i dont know if their support will be of good use though
Same here, got F****** big time. First issue with cryptopia and lost $10k.

Or more like he is making too much with it to sell it at the moment, he'll prob wait a little then release. Or maybe it's bugged...
