Latest news Smiley To better support XRP, Coinbase has announced that XRP holders can now use the Coinbase Wallet to secure their assets.

Coinbase plans to avail the new wallet app integrated with XRP support over the coming week. The wallet will also support XRP Testnet for use by power users and developers. The app will be available for use on both Android and iOS devices.

The Coinbase Wallet works much like other digital wallets. It uses the Secure Enclave technology to encrypt private keys. In fact, the Secure Enclave technology is currently the most secure way to ensure the safety of data stored on mobile devices.

Buying stellar will be way easy now for U.S. customers - Stellar Lumens (XLM) is launching on Coinbase Pro

"After 1pm PT on March 13, 2019, we will begin accepting inbound transfers of XLM to Coinbase Pro. We will accept deposits for approximately 12 hours prior to enabling full trading.
Once sufficient supply of XLM is established on the platform, trading on the XLM/USD, XLM/EUR, and XLM/BTC order books will start in phases, beginning with post-only mode and proceeding to full trading should our metrics for a healthy market be met."

"Active work continues on the installation of an experimental Cold Fusion Reactor to obtain valuable chemical elements as a result of transmutation.
During the spring, a pilot unit will be created to generate physical volumes of valuable chemical elements resulting from transmutation. Later, the development of such elements for innovative dietary supplements will begin."

Re: Innovative Gambling - Cosmobit.org - 110% Refund - Provably Fair
by
yurimir
on 12/03/2019, 08:04:26 UTC
The site cosmobit.org looks unfinished, registration page reloads cyclically. Difficult switch to Game description, below is the content of this page:

How it works

Getting started:
Each new member starts the game with a new spaceship costing 100 satoshi, with a planet, with 100 satoshi at his balance and with 3 free portals. Any player can get a second planet for free by clicking on a transparent planet labeled +++Planet+++. Each player receives extra 100 satoshi after registration. Entering the CosmoBit.org for the first time the player begins his first flight.
When starting new flight the server generates a number from 1 to 5 using the provably fair system. This is the number of maximum asteroids that the spaceship can attack in one flight.

Asteroids and ships:
There are 7 types of asteroids highlighted by rarity. Asteroid rarity corresponds to spaceship rarity. The rarer the asteroid, the greater the reward. Each new spaceship has 10 shots. It turns out that each shot is worth a tenth of the price of the spaceship. During each flight the ship can attack one of the three asteroids: a small one, a medium one and a large one. Player chooses one of them to attack.
Each asteroid has a different reward and probability of winning.

Formula:
Chance to win = Asteroid return / Rate multiplier
Asteroid return is 110% for small asteroid, 100% for medium one and 90% for big one.
Rate multiplier for small asteroid ranges between 1.2 to 1.4.
Rate multiplier for medium asteroid ranges between 1.5 to 4.5.
Rate multiplier for big asteroid ranges between 5 to 10.
Turns out that the smaller asteroid is than the higher is return and chance to win, but the smaller is the winning. The bigger asteroid is than the smaller is return and chance to win, but winnings ate bigger.

Examples::
For the examples below, a ship that costs 1 Bitcoin will be used. Hence one shot from this ship costs 0.1 bitcoin.
Small asteroid has return 110% and rate multiplier 1.2:
Chance to win = 110% / 1.2 = 91.67%
In this example, the player wins 0.12 BTC with a probability of 91.67%
Medium asteroid has return 100% and rate multiplier 4:
Chance to win = 100% / 4 = 25%
In this example, the player wins 0.4 BTC with a probability of 25%
Big asteroid has return 90% and rate multiplier 10:
Chance to win = 90% / 10 = 9%
In this example, the player wins 1 BTC with a probability of 9%

Maybe it's time to sell Litecoin Huh I see a lot of optimism - Litecoin might jump XRP by the end of 2019

Billy Bambroug, a Forbes contributor, seems to believe that the 4th largest cryptocurrency, Litecoin, might jump XRP and take 3rd place before the end of 2019.

Great news  Smiley - Stellar (XLM) is Now Available as Collateral on YouHodler’s Expanding FinTech Platform

"Choosing XLM as collateral on the YouHodler platform allows users to receive a loan in EUR, USD or USDT. Using a credit/debit card, verified bank account or stable coin wallets, users can then instantly withdraw their loan from the platform.

As the ninth largest cryptocurrency per market capitalization, XLM has proven to be one of the bear market’s strongest survivors with promising potential. With a total supply of 19 billion, XLM is currently trading at $0.086630 against the U.S. dollar and is close on the tail of Tether (USDT) for the number eight spot. The hype surrounding the coin continues to grow alongside Stellar’s partnership with IBM. Stellar, which is the main competitor to Ripple, aims to help IBM replace the current banking system in the South Pacific. Growing value aside, there are more important reasons for this addition for YouHodler according to CEO Ilya Volkov.

Compared to other coins in the top five, Stellar is a rather small network. Yet, it still exhibits massive potential via the XLM community. On the topic, YouHodler CEO Ilya Volkov states that we know XLM users are a unique and talented group of crypto enthusiasts. For that reason, we wanted to target with them this new addition to this platform. Yes, it will help  XLM HODLers find another use for their coins but it will also help us in regards to collaboration. XLM HODLers are often overlooked in the realm of the crypto industry and by introducing them to the platform YouHodler hopes to make lasting connections that will be beneficial to both parties."

IOTA CAR-WALLET by Accessec -  https://accessec.com/car-wallet/?fbclid=IwAR0bbgAra62V6FNWt_Ani5zi6v3xK4CXyNqefIPNH0ukJYZ-k3qdgUMffGQ

English translate from subreddit discussion thread:

We are especially proud to launch the New Year with our two innovative and IOTA based Car Wallet and Point of Sale (PoS) demonstrators! The Car Wallet with the universal PoS remote station enables automated payment for services as well as mutual authentication and authorization. The demonstrators were carefully analyzed because development was subject to a rigorous Secure Software Development LifeCycle (SDLC) process from the beginning. Among other things, detailed threat modeling and risk analysis of the individual components were carried out in order to minimize potential risks. For this reason porting and integration of the Car Wallet and PoS solution into any vehicle control unit or PoS charging station is easily possible. The two demonstrators are making great progress in digitizing the processes and making it possible to pay for virtually any service. We are happy to present you the demonstrators at an appointment and give you a first insight into their functioning.

Ethereum will be the future unlike bitcoin which dont have a roadmap only lightning network which is offchain vitalik is trying to do something onchain even when it has raiden sooner we will see casper and sharding and ethereum shall be #1 i hope

This is the totally wrong when you compare ETH with BTC it doesn't make any sense because BTC is still ahead of all project in term of development and transparency and it has no competitor while on other side ETH have to face so many in coming days so it won't happen in future.

Another Ethereum argument: ETH has the most developers working on its base protocol of all cryptocurrencies, Ethereum is by far the most active at 99 monthly developers on average. Bitcoin has a healthy developer base as well, averaging over 50 developers per month.

I can't comment on the specifics of this conflict but I liked these thoughts from reddit thread

"Unqualified investors(anyone that isn't a professional VC or angel investor) should probably avoid all ICO's altogether.

There may be a few ICO's that will generate money, for investors but most won't, they will be gambling vessels propped up to unrealistic values, until people start learning most of the ICO's are actually worthless.

Sure maybe a lot of people who start ICO's have genuine good ideas, but over times their intentions might get corrupted because they realize that this huge pot of money is actually theirs and the investor has no real legal rights. So many owners of ICO's will pay themselves generous wages while doing very little, or simply run of with the money, depending if they want to keep up appearances or not."  Smiley

Ripple CTO David Schwartz issued a fiery response - Ripple CTO Says Bitcoin Is at a ‘Dead End’, Refutes Claims That XRP Is Vulnerable to Attack

"No blockchain that I know of has better protection against a hostile majority attack than the XRP Ledger does. Bitcoin will happily allow double spends if the majority of mining power is in hostile hands…

PoW has been a dead end for both decentralization and security, It’s gotten more centralized, and we’ve seen 51% double spend attacks. By contrast, distributed agreement has gotten more decentralized, and it’s clear how to mitigate these attacks in software."
