Hello,

quick questions:
- Does it support USB miners (or this support is managed by CGminer/BFGminer ?)
- Is it manageable through SSH for a headless RPI ? or remotely (RDP/other) ?

thank you

the s5s, one uses the others exhaust as intake air?

yes unfortunately.

It'll be in a AC'd datacenter so should'b be a problem.

Currently in my garage (no AC)

Front S5: 51 average
Rear S5: 55 average
S7: 51 average

Note: S5 use ambiant air from the garage, S7 has a direct air intake from the outside (currently temp <10C outside)

1x S7F! (converted to 2fans), 2x S5, 1x RPI with Minera app, 1x 3G router in a 4U enclosure (top removed for picture)
(on the floor a couple of S3+)

With cover:

For the extraction fan of the S7, I used an old 120mm fan, removed the propeller and just used the casing to make it more silent:

Brilliant !

Although I would have placed the intake at ground level (with a dust filter) where air is maybe a few degres colder Smiley

Guys, please stop all the alt coin discussion in this topic.  This is the BITCOIN forum, there is an altcoin forum and you are free to start a picture thread there.

This thread is about pictures of mining rigs.  You are not a moderator.

You stand to be corrected, although this is certainly a thread about picture of mining rigs.
but it is also in the Bitcoin section, not the altcoin section. (as it was already pointed out earlier...)

So Mikestang's comment stands I believe Smiley

14awg wire is okay in itself, but as i said, the concern is that its putting about 200w through a single connecting pin on each blade, which is a bit high for my taste. better to spread it more evenly using a 6-wire PCIe cable and/or both connectors on each blade

just make sure its clipped in securely and that the wires are not getting too hot and youll be okay

Wires are barely warm, connectors are secured Smiley

LOL

I have a BFL 30ghs too, but I'm waiting on more cables to power it from the S3+ power supply.

It melted a pair of pcie cables already from my standard PSU.

None of these will ever ROI but it's fun to tinker with them.

I have 13 333Mhs block erupter too.

Final setup will change when I get the USB doctors, then i'll make a permanent holder for the compac sticks with improved cooling.
At the moment it's WIP.

I don't really care about electricity as I already have a bunch of computers running 24/7.

I also have 4 dual xeon servers and a 65Tb SAN array running once in a while (in the black 42U rack you see on the right in the photo)

Here is my triple blade gridseed

Bought 3 pcbs and added some heatsinks and a box.
Using a single usb on the back didnt work as well as i tought. And the red buttons was supposed to be used for switching each blade off.
But i used cheap cables that started to melt. so im going to make a new backside soon..

Fancy !

nice u3 setup.
do you running in solo mode?
At the moment they're not, but that's the plan.

What mining software are you using to get six U3 units working? Command line? Thanks.

cgminer --au3-freq 250 --au3-volt 830
bfgminer -S all --set antminer:voltage=x830 --set antminer:clock=250

Thanks for replying.

What version of BFGMiner are you using? I've never been able to get my U3's working with it.
They are not even recognized by BFGminer, no matter what settings I use. Are you using the SiLabs drivers?

Cgminer 4.9.2
BFG 5.4

Running on Linux: both works
Running on Windows: cgminer with zadig, BFG with standard drivers.

But that's not the topic here Smiley

I really like your old setup.

Makes me wish I was more proficient with my hands, but wood shelves will do for me now Smiley
