by

Was asked to help with this transaction and sent a reply, but now am being told by the seller that they have not received my PM.
Hopefully not another hacked account.....

Hi minerjones, i indeed haven't received your pm, but it's still me (i just haven't been on this forum in a while ~ maybe the mods locked me out or something?).

I think you have my phone number from a previous transaction we did. You can call me on that to confirm my identity.

Still in the midlands, same number.

[Help Required] - BTC 0.0028 Reward - FTX Quant Zone Variable Creation
by
zac2013
on 01/11/2021, 13:11:19 UTC
Hi looking for a little bit of coding help, will pay 0.0028 BTC for a simple job?

I need the code to create a variable on ftx quant zone. So experience using the quant zone would help i guess?

Specifically... create the code which will set and create a variable at the previous price i bought btc/usd spot at.

That's it,

As soon as i get the variable price showing at the correct price my last buy bid hit at, i will send your earnings

Thanks for your help in advance  Smiley

Marketing. You could have made an official ANN post and offer a bounty program so you can get the word out. You would have had people making translations (reach more investors). Could have set up a discord and a telegram,fb and twitter. Another reason maybe be US based exchanges are a bit scary at least me to. Uncle Sam will shut that down if it's not done right. But I think its all marketing.

Totally agree, you need a good marketing team, without good marketing you are going to be crowded out, second reason is that since the beginning of February, the alts have been down in price, which wil naturally reduce demand for everyone. Not to worry this will all reverse, but get yourself clued up with some marketing techniques. Traditional & or crypto marketing is needed.

Re: Which type of coins will be strong in 2018?
by
zac2013

Everybody asks which coins will increase but I would rather ask which type of coins will increase?

I think the biggest increase will come from the infrastructure coins, think big coins that are laying down the future crypto infrastructure that everything else will use, i'm thinking the decentralized exchange coins will outperform next year.

Best infrastructure coins?
BTC ETH XTZ EOS ADA NEO XLM XEM TRX LSK VEN QTUM SNT SHIFT

Wait until we are in a shitcoin season before you buy any alts though  Roll Eyes Or you will lose money against BTC

Re: Money Management Principle in bitcoin and altcoin Trading
by
zac2013
on 19/01/2018, 01:28:39 UTC
Sorry to dig this thread up from the grave, but i have just found it on google & felt compelled to write something  Cool

---------------------->

Not one post here understands money management.... simply put it is "the % allocation of your capital that you put into each trade".

Most professionals will tell you that 1%-3% of your "bank roll" per trade (or coin) is a good risk strategy.

So for example if you start with $3000 and then decide on a 1% money management strategy, you will put $30 exactly into each coin you buy.

You then need to rebalance your stakes if your "bank roll" increases or decreases.

A 1% strategy will enable you to buy 100 coins

A 3% strategy will enable you to buy 33 coins

"bank roll" = total amount of cash you have

I have to admit, i have just starting posting here again, i'm trying to get my forum mojo back.

It's a struggle though, the interaction is a bit hard to find and the search bar sucks (like always), why does it show results from 2011, shouldn't it show the latest stuff that you keyword search for?

I end up putting a search string in google to find what i want here Roll Eyes

Never jump in, or go all in.

Gradually enter & exit the market in small amounts, always have a bit of spare cash lying around to buy on the -20% days.

Re: How to end the "BTC Civil War" before it gets worse?
by
zac2013
on 19/01/2018, 00:05:33 UTC
⭐ Merited by digaran (4)
The simple way to end the civil war is to introduce cheap transactions fees as soon as possible.

The entire crypto market needs Bitcoin to do well.

If users can actually use Bitcoin (without feeling like they are getting ripped off) then all the other bs & forks becomes irrelevant.

If i was new and just bought my first amount of Bitcoin on localbitcoins.com then put it into purse.io to buy some discounted stuff from Amazon, then i would currently be buying at a higher price than Amazon (with fees added). It's messing everything up, this is just one example of how it's not working.

I don't want to have to change my Bitcoin for eth or limit my usage just so i can use it.

Cheap fees, so that it becomes functional again to new users is all that's required.

binance is one of the top exchange with fair speed and volume, it's just plain better than Ed and you should have your tokens traded over there if listed for better efficiency

Agreed Binance is currently the best exchange for alts.

Yes trading fees are much cheaper on Binance typically (0.1%), if you pay using binance coin "BNB" you will get typical fees of just (0.05%)

Ether delta typical fees are (0.3%) + other fees.

Once you get used to the trading screen in Binance it's pretty easy, they also have a referral program, competitions and they support the crypto community by launching new projects / companies.

All in all they are tip top & they haven't had any big hacking issues like ether delta has.
