Wallet Update v2.49.01 - Private transactions and Xmixer's Functions are not backwards compatible please update to use those features

Windows Wallet -

Xmixer/Readme/ChangeLog - http://downloads.xc-official.com/release/windows/

Dan

Xmixer no longer make the transactions [auto-tumbler] which caused the .00001 fee in this release

Do you need the -distmix thingy for this release?

Is there a way now to redirect staking earnings or mixing earnings to a separate wallet automatically?

No

Do you have to unlock the wallet fully or is it enough with unlocked for staking for the xmixer to be operational?

You must completely unlock your wallet if you want to become a Xmixer.

So you have to use an unencrypted wallet or is there a way to unlock fully on an encrypted wallet?  Just curious, have not quite built up to 1k yet:-(  But working on it:-)
You can unlock it fully when it's encrypted.

So do you have to do anything besides starting the wallet for the Xnode to work?

I've probably missed it, but I can't seem to find any information on how to:

1. Get xnodes up and running on rev 2. What are the requirements, if any?

2. Requirements for utilising the anonymous transfer. I've tried sending 10XC having ticked the anon transfer checkbox, but all 5 times nothing's happened, and the coins lie still in my original address.
hey did you read the manual ?? : private_transactions_readme_.txt
Code:
Decentralized Trustless Mixer testing

- Test Release

- Stable for mainnet

- Enable via "Enable Private Transactions" Checkbox (available under coin-control)

- Use a test wallet, You need at least 50 XC's in the testwallet to use this feature [ no more than 100 XC's, don't use your primary wallet]

- if transaction does not go through, no coins are sent and no risk of mixer stealing coins

- transactions are processed over 30 minute windows

- Requires UNPNP or Port Forwarding of TCP:32348 to host running wallet to use this feature until XNodes support DTM codem, then XNodes will receive payments for supporting these transations

- XCurrency.conf requires seed nodes and nothing else [unless you have a special configuration]
addnode=east01.xcnode.xc-official.com
addnode=west01.xcnode.xc-official.com
addnode=west02.xcnode.xc-official.com

- Transactions process within 30minutes

- Transactions can fail, however it is a zero-risk system, you can NOT loose coins, coins either go to destination you specified or stay in the local wallet

- Next UI update will have transaction progress indicator

- use 10 XC"s for sending with release only

grts

Yeah okay I read it and I missed a few lines before. But regarding X-nodes, do you still need a 550 reserve balance set up? If so, is it possible to do so in the mac wallet?

Re: Claymore XMR/QCN/FCN/BCN GPU Miner v3.4
by

on 25/06/2014, 09:06:52 UTC
Hello, sorry to say but v3.4 still seems to have the Monero pool disconnect issue, been testing it against my pool (cryptonotepool.org.uk) so I see from both ends Smiley

Running cpuminer-multi and GPUminer 3.4 on same Win8x64 PC, with 270X

The stratum stops responding for about 10 secs whilst it waits for the daemon to backup its blockchain. Claymore miner doesnt report disconnect at this point, but stops hashing shares, 30 minutes later it says "no new job received for 20min", despite having received jobs for last 30min and not doing anything with them Smiley I then restarted the pool which caused a proper stratum disconnect, which Claymore registered, reconnected and then waited 30min before reconnecting and receiving new jobs, but not hashing any shares. Throughout that period cpuminer-multi only complained when the pool was restarted and it had to reconnect.

Looks to me like the problem is caused by it being unable to submit a share, but I'm not sure, since there is a logfile here are relevant excerpts, please let me know if you need more details.

Thanks! Smiley

[SNIP]

I had the exact same problems, but found them gone once I started mining without overclock. I've 290 cards though.

So the miner was seemingly stable for me, but I have yet to have it up for more than 12 hours without the miner stopping and rendering the computer completely unresponsive until a reboot.

It also goes offline from my VNC service.

Sometimes it works fine for up to 16 hours, sometimes it crashes after just a few minutes.

I'm on win 7, got 13.12 drivers, 16GB virtual memory, GPU MAX ALLOC 100 just as previously suggested.

I'm using 3x Gigabyte 290 reference cards with Elpida memories.

Excerpt from the logfile after computer gets unresponsive and miner stops sending shares:

Marvellous, getting 1800h/s with my r9 290 cards! 29% increase!

The memclock on the cards were jumping between 100 (idle) and 1500MHz batshit crazy on 2.2 but seems a lot more stable now.

For those who wonder:

3x r9 290 gigabyte reference with elpida
8gb ram
have not manually set anything (virtual memory nor gpu alloc)
catalyst 13.12
win7 64

The only thing I really lack is temp and fan control, --auto-fan on c/sgminer is just too awesome with my rig being outside with shifting ambient temperature.

Working well for me, mining on monero.crypto-pool.fr.

Getting 1448 h/s with 3x 290 at 1000/1500.

Pool reporting between 1.1 and 1.6 kh/s so seems ok.

Trust me when I say media attention is not really desirable while the "nodes-can-steal-money" issue remains.

Atcsecure already said dynamic trust system will prevent bad actors from stealing. Are you more or as qualified as him to present an argument opposing this? If so, let's hear it. Because all I've seen you do is offer up ungrounded "thesis statements" with no supporting arguments.  Not trying to troll, but I'd like to see a solid argument of why you oppose atcsecures method. Until then, nothing you say holds any water.

The thing that makes me wary with this statement is that one could potentially abuse this to get good rep, before deciding to steal. How is this avoided?

http://cryptexplorer.com/address/XDNHMSD2Feex8bDHz9yiLtadHz4LGABQWE

the only thing I'm looking for now is proof of direct link from the source wallet address to the destination wallet on block chain

Since this is single path at this time (not multi-path) that is the only concern with this release, is there a DIRECT LINK..

thanks,
