Mine also have the 4 pin regulator, they seem to work fine, if you don't forget to cool them ...
One of mine dropped all the components  Huh because I tought it would run on stock frequency without extra cooling.
I re-soldered them all by hand using flux, and it's up and running again, with printed 40x40 air ducts and fans connected on them, now they behave and don't drop parts  Grin
Whatever you do, use the Kano version of cgminer, it runs more stable then the other versions found on github and is running with about 0.5A less power usage for the same frequency settings ...

On my devices the vendor id is the same, so the plugdev file should be universal.
Did you have success on frequencies above 850 MHz?
I noticed you put a voltage section in the configuration, that sets some voltage on gpio5
Is this documented somewhere else ? I looked in the datasheet but couldn't find anything there, neither in the gridseed cgminer version on github.
Where did you find this additional information ?
For now it's running stable on my pi @850MHz for 3 hours and my pi is clocked at default frequency.

Ok, some standard questions to be sure we have the same config:
Do you have your pi running at stock frequency ?
Did you add additional parameters to your modules configuration ?
What is your cmdline.txt

Mine has crashed twice with spurious interrupt errors, killing the miner and taking down the pi alltogether.
I'm running with these options : baud=115200,freq=850,chips=5,modules=1,btc=0
The pi is on a powered usb hub, I've been using these hubs for my pi's for ages and not seen any issues.
The miner is on a dedicated 12V powersupply, that allows 5A, so don't see an issue there neither.
Any suggestions are welcome.

If you don't want to run a bunch of cpuminers, I have posted modified cgminer sources to allow LTC-only mode: https://github.com/dtbartle/cgminer-gc3355. I have this running on a Raspberry Pi with 10 devices.

Any chance of a Pi image with compiled binary? Smiley

Here's a compiled binary built on raspbian: https://db.tt/UygLkqwd

Thanks heaps - is the MHz set as compile time?  Anyway to get 850mhz?  --gridseed-options=baud=115200,freq=850
still no work utility   d'oh forgot the --scrypt

Also this seems to work OK for 10 miners but over that kernel panics the Pi.

EDIT: Nope crashes with 10 also, tried with two different sets of 10 miners Sad

Also seems that no work is getting submitted and work utility is zero

I pushed a change and updated the binary to add nonce generation per chip. This gives some assurance that you don't have any completely busted chips.

I built your code from github, it is working fine on my pi.
The Accepted shares are off for some reason on the interface.
I also monitor the cgminer with the networking API and there they seem to be correct.
Not sure where this might be hidden in the code , but if I have time later, I might take a look at it.
