I think he is not ready paying old customers
What makes you "think" that ?
Customers ? Please bear in mind that this was an experimental no-login, no-fee wallet, not a paying service.
Users are welcome to reach out if they can prove they were actual user by providing all the details in their posession.
I do not respond to unsubstantiated claim because they are too easily made up and I don't have time for that anymore after 7+ years.

Hello, I formerly had an Instawallet and have the address and other details, dating back to 2011.

I tried sending a pm, but was told you weren't able to accept from me.

Please respond and let me know additional details regarding recovery.

Re: Where can I buy bitcoins with paypal?

You might find someone willing to do a trade on the Bitcoin-OTC marketplace.

I agree, the Bitcoin-OTC marketplace is definitely the safest place to purchase BTC  with Paypal. There are many issues with chargeback and fraud on Paypal, but buying from someone who relies on feedback is the safest way to go. Of course, if you can find a way outside of Paypal that would be ideal.

Re: Why there was a Bitcoin hype

I agree completely that the initial hype was due to Silk Road. But I do think that bitcoin can still become a widely used currency simply because the general public is using the internet for commerce at an increasing rate. Once more people begin to understand bitcoin, the uses for it will grow and that will determine how widespread it becomes.

Re: Where do you fall on the political compass?

Economic Left/Right: 0.00
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.21

Not worth much to me. For instance, if I believe abortion is always murder the test aligns me as authoritarian/right. I don't believe that stance is authoritarian because I see it as defending a person who can't defend their self rather than a protection of an individual's(the mother) rights. So what makes this test unreliable is that the test maker aligns answers with views different than the test taker intended the answer to mean.

While I don't think it is headed to 0, I can see the price dropping to around $4 in the near future and maybe a little more than that. There will still be enough demand to keep the price from going extremely low.

BitcoinAnalysis.Com & BitcoinExchangeReviews.Com Domain Sale Offers
by
zmcmoto1
on 08/09/2011, 15:25:10 UTC
These two domain names were bought earlier this year during my original discovery of bitcoin. I planned to use the domains as a blog/review on bitcoin news and developments. Well, I ended up having to abandon that idea due to lack of funds and time. If you are interested in purchasing either of these domains send me an offer. I also have the domain InvestInBitcoin.Com that I am not planning to sell but, depending on the offer I might sell that one too.

Re: Why Bitcoins, Joe Average?
by

I don't see the average person having much of a reason to use bitcoin outside of silk road right now. Even the basic concepts of bitcoin
are hard for me to explain to family members/friends, so I don't see the public catching on for a while. That being said, I think it will  become
widely used a couple years from now because you can make purchases online while keeping your anonymity. It's quick and anonymous.

Re: bitcoins. waste of money?
by
zmcmoto1

im trying to make money off bitcoins bcuz my parents only give me $10/wk.  wtf does it matter2u?

Because that's the reason why you are using bitcoins. I could tell you that bitcoins are great for international money transfers or that it is a technological/social project with many interesting cryptography concepts, but why would you or your parents care?
You do not need to make international transfers, you certainly are not studying any of the underlying technology and you should not be making high risk investments if you are young and you do not have your own money. That's why your parents cut your allowance and they did great.

You should only be spending money you don't need with bitcoins. Money you don't need is something that you don't have, because you do not work to earn it.

You listen to me, kid.

Get your allowance back, beg if you have to.

Then you take that $10 a week and you save it.

And you save it and save it and save it.

Get yourself a nice wad of cash going, you need to be responsible with this money, because you have a goal.

Keep saving that fucking money like you're a pro, don't get weak.

Save up until you've got $100-150, get it in $5 so it feels nice and fat in your pocket.  Feel that wad of cash?  That's success.

Now you take that fat wad of cash to school or the park or wherever teens hang out. Say you're looking for some nug/bud/weed/pot.

Now, don't be stupid, have some friends with you, you're not going to lose this shit now, you've earned it.

Now you ask around until you've got the hook up, and drop all $150 on a fat sack of the greenest stinkiest shit you've ever imagined.

Smoke it. Smoke that shit. Smoke as much as you can, go wild. Hell, invite some underage chicks over, get them stoned too, they'll get REAL excited.

And once you're fucking blazing up with some hot chicks or at least a nice full bottle of lube, and you're just going at that shit, you ask yourself:

Is this worse than Bitcoin?

One word: Satori.

Haha. This guy has the right idea!

I agree with most of the posts on here. Paypal is very complicated and I've learned it's better to stay away unless it's a one-time deal
with someone you trust. Only time I have used Paypal is by finding a reputable member on bitcoin-otc to sell me a small amount of BTC.

My name is Zak and I'm new to the board. Glad to meet everyone here. I was wondering how many posts you need or how you can post to other sections of the forum. I didn't have time to read through the whole forum right now and was interested in posting on topics in other threads. Someone let me know please.

Thanks
