We are going to clarify this issue.

Each ICO is a big risk:

The team puts a lot of money and effort to their product and campaign;
Bounty hunters put their effort to the campaign;
Investors put their money into a risky business.

Everyone should bear in mind there is a chance everything can go wrong and their investments will never be paid off.

So, the bounty participants of our November campaign will not be paid, as the campaign was not successful.
And we are not going to launch a new bounty campaign this time.

If you stay with us and believe that Confideal is an awesome project, you definitely know that we play fair. You know all the ETH we received later, have been returned to their investors.

Bounty campaign CDL tokens allocation:
1. Content campaign - 20%
2. Facebook campaign - 20%

1. Content campaign


Create an article, a review or a video of the upcoming Confideal ICO. Confideal is looking for quality content in English, German, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or Korean (other languages may be considered but are subject to pre-approval by Confideal).
Each publication must be no less than 2,000 characters (with spaces). Each participant is expected to prepare at least two publications before the ICO start date and publish at least one of them.

Bounty content campaign evaluation:
Every campaign participation will be reviewed by its creativity, length, and the audience coverage.
Between 1 and 5 points will be given in accordance with this criteria.

2. Facebook campaign


1. To qualify, you must have no less than 200 friends and make your Facebook profile open to “Public”
2. Follow and Like Confideal’s official page on Facebook
3. Like and Share at least 1 post per week, that gives your 1 stake for each week

Multiple account registrations are not allowed; suspicious accounts will get no stakes and may be excluded from the bounty program.

3. Twitter campaign


1. To qualify, you must have no less than 250 followers and make your account open to everyone
2. Follow Confideal’s official Twitter
3. Like & Retweet at least 2 post per week, that gives your 1 stake for each week

Multiple accounts registrations are not allowed, all related/fake accounts will be excluded from the bounty program.

4. Steemit campaign


1. To qualify, you must have an active account (at least 30 days old; with at least five posts)
2. Follow the official Confideal account on Steemit
3. Upvote, comment and resteem every post, upvote the comments by Confideal

5. Bitcointalk campaign (subject to pre-approval from Confideal)


You must be at least a junior member in order to participate in translation campaign.
-   Each member must translate Confideal’s thread, create a new thread on the national bitcointalk subforum, and post translation.
-   Every member must be active in the national Confideal thread answering the questions and be publishing the news from Confideal social media channels.
-   Please wait for your approval before preparing any materials. We only consider one participant per localization.
-   Every participant must post a link to the translation to the Confideal main thread.

Stakes:
-   For every post about the Confideal ICO and project every participant will receive 5 stakes. Max cap for the post stakes is 100 stakes.
-   The quality of the translation and posting will be checked. Poor quality translations and spamming will disqualify the participants.

6. Bug bounty campaign

The scope of our bug bounty program includes all contracts related to the CDL token and crowdsale. This includes contracts from our official Confideal GitHub repo.
Our team will assess each submission individually and assign a level of severity according to its likelihood and impact on security and performance of the token itself.
Compensation will depend on the severity of the issue found.

Low: Up to 2000 CDL
Medium: Up to 5000 CDL
High: Up to 10,000 CDL
Critical: Up to 20,000 CDL

Please report bug bounty submissions to this form.

Note that bounties will be paid in CDL after the crowdsale has concluded, provided that the investment threshold of 5000 ETH is surpassed. Confideal employees and paid auditors are not eligible for bounty compensation.

From what i know about it i think it is a very bad idea with very good marketing.
It dont see how this can be profitable to anyone involved. I dont see consumer mining as a real market in the future. It was fun,  but IMO it's a dead horse.

TED is a Microsoft team that does work to repair Microsoft reputation in the open sourse community. It is a new initiative. Mostly I work with startups in the  Microsoft Ventures lab.
I am involved in Spondoolies where my experience is needed (I am allowed by my Microsoft agreement) ,  because we are friends but I am not the main developer anymore. After implementing 2 years of miner SW one has to move on.

Extranonce subscribe is not officialy supported by Con and by spondoolies. You can compile it and scp to the board.

Its just a cgminer update, but it was not properly tested since I dissasembled my testing environment for sp2x/3x. I dont expect to release new official sp10/20/3x releases. No breson to upgrade.

Generic PSU will only work if you set 'generic psu'  flag in /etc/mg_generic_psu.  We had insisted on some bug fixes to the stock emerson fw. Without it you must use it as generic.  Ask on forum from people who did it.

The logic of scaling is very complicated and takes into account 4-5 different parameters for optimisation. Also every ASIC is different and has different top freq` even at same voltage.

10% might be the minimum that it will work.
To try to set it to lower value: ssh to the unit, "vi  /etc/mg_custom_mode", change the fan to setting to "5" for example. If you set it to "0" it will become "auto", which starts about 60 and then goes down if system is cold.
Might work, but I never set it to lower then 10%.
