Just wait for an official answer or contact the support, it seems a little too complicated just to invest on it.

Dont trust any emails for now especially spam/junk folder, there are so much frauds and scams with email method.

And i didnt see anything about proof of ID / proof of address there.

You're right though. Nowadays the crypto market is rife with scammers. I just assume that anything I get via email is a scam unless proven otherwise. Better to be safe than sorry.
