If the transaction is within eBay's money back guarantee 30 day after delivery window, unless you can drag the buyer to say something in the dispute that proves he's trying to scam you, which they are under no obligation to even communicate with you, eBay will allow the 'buyer' to return the 'item they claim they received' for a 100% refund and you pay the shipping both ways. It's too easy for ANYONE to file a fraudulent return under any false pretense they can imagine. That's the reality of selling high risk items on eBay.

That's kind of what I'm thinking. I'm no stranger to ebay and selling high risk items, but I wanted to see if anybody has ever heard of this situation before. I find it to be extremely unlikely that tons of them got shipped out this way. Again, I just wanted to see if anybody has ever experienced this type of
(alleged) situation with cards.
