How to profit from Token Listing Events?

Based on our analysis on past exchange listing notifications, once a token listing is official, the said token will see a big flurry of purchases on other exchanges, pushing the price upwards, in anticipation for the listing event. Normally this will happen in the first 10 mins, and in some cases, continue throughout the day if the coin/token is really a promising and exciting project.

For the uninitiated, let me break this down to you and explain it in more detail. Cryptocurrency Exchanges normally list tokens on their own discretion, therefore, before a big exchange like Binance lists a token such as RavenCoin (RVN), it would have already been listed and traded at other exchanges for some time. On learning the announcement from Binance, crypto traders will flock to other exchanges and buy up the tokens in advance.

So, in order to profit from exchange listing events, there are the two criteria:

i) Learn about the Token Listing Announcement within 10 seconds

ii) Buy the token at another exchange within the next 14 minutes

This is indeed not a small feat considering that we dont stare at the crypto trading terminal or latest news from exchanges all day long (We still have a life, remember? and a family? Hello?)
