That's correct. I prefer to have the application signed with an address that was staked some time in the past, even for secured loans. I've included an example in my OP, and here. I hope this eliminates any ambiguity.

And just to be clear; rank and merit requirements only apply to unsecured (no collateral) loans. There is no rank or merit requirement for loans secured by collateral.

I could have waited a week or 2 before applying, found some Merit sellers to meet your requirements, asked for a loan and got it.
Also as I said even excellent posts don't necessarly get Merit, the way I see it happening it's more people who know each other who give Merit, very rarely did I see a post that desrves it get one.

Yes, but if others copy you, it will have a snowball effect, remember how many sold accounts were used for scams in loans and other activities.
