First, it's not an "investment". You bid, and if the time runs out and no one else bids, you get the entire pot.
For this type of game, you can't be provably fair. You are going against other players, and whoever has the most bankroll will win in the end. System will be hard to cheat because they are using moneypot, so someone can't make a fake deposit. Even the owner can't cheat, as he would need the BTC to "bid"
