Completely agreed with you. People do gamble when they free every time, and don't have any other activity..
Getting married and making family is also a good method to stay away from gambling.

In some people this may work for them but I have known some with a family a father of two keeps on gambling everytime he has lots of money and that turn into an addiction that is the time when his family stay out from gambling.
