Unless it is a very large value deal, that there are only one or 2 users here worthy of escrowing (a la OgNasty), the escrow account just needs to be valued more than the deal value. In this case, ranochigo account is worth WAY MORE than $80 and should be perfectly acceptable to anyone truly wanting to do a deal. Otherwise they are just wasting your time. (No-one will tarnish such a good account to screw over a deal when they could just sell their account for more than the deal value).

I agree 100%, I don't think I should be having to go through this whole process, considering the fact that the other party actually has a negative trust account too... I thought my standing and reputation here would be good enough, but the man wanted escrow, so I'm out here searching for one so I can get my 80$...

Don't put up with the BS. Any untarnished hero account or higher willing to do the escrow should be fine.
For what it is worth - an $80 deal with you should not have required an escrow.

Sometimes you just have to walk away from a deal due to bs from the other party. There is always someone else out there to deal with.
