Hello, I've used your service before with great success and love it. However, this afternoon I think I made the mistake of selecting MtGox as my destination address instead of just a regular bitcoin address. If you could help me resolve this that would be great.

Have you logged onto GOX to see if your $$$ is there?  Have you checked for any GOX codes?  Thanks!  Cheesy

Well the destination address I typed in on BitInstant was a bitcoin address so how would it be in GOX?

Didn't you say that you selected GOX as the destination address above?

Yes. Sorry, I don't think I'm explaining this well enough. When I created the order on BitInstant the option I chose was Cash Deposit to MtGox (on accident) when I was trying to choose Cash Deposit to Bitcoin Address. So instead of puting a MtGox account number in the box, I typed my bitcoin address that is not associated with MtGox.

If this was the case then the deposit would fail without the correct info and the system may try and spit you out a GOX code.  Have you checked for a confirmation email with a GOX code?

Yes, I received a confirmation email. It says :
"Hey there,
This is to notify you that your order has been updated, please find the details below:
We have made a direct deposit into your MTGox account and there is no need to use the coupon system on this order."

And then it lists the:
OrderID, EventID, DestAccount, QuoteID, User, DestExchange, eventtype, EventSentAt, APIResponse, and FundsSent.

Regardless that it says you do not need to use a coupon you still may need to.  Check the confirmation email for an API response code and try to redeem it at GOX!  Cheesy
