It can be helpful and I have proven that it works. Well sometimes it might not work when you get too excited to play and keep on winning but I can assure you that most of the time it works. It is good that it is keeping myself not to lose control when I play because I have limitation on myself. When someone play for fun or profit , they should have limitation

Good thing that you supported that strategy when it comes for the reason of getting profit in gambling. And with your second sentence, the reason why gamblers are not getting a good profit is because of the emotion. I guess our emotion will always play a big part when it comes to betting activity because if you can't control it, your lost.

it can't be helped though that emotions will be included when you gamble. I think what makes us lose here is the sudden bursts of emotions that make us make decisions that we really didn't plan for. we can still be emotional I think but we have to keep it in check so that it won't cloud our deciaion making

It can help you if you can handle your emotions properly. But if you can't manage your emotion and you are gambling for profit, you will have a bad fate in the end after you gamble. And if you are an emotional person then just go for the fun because when you have a feeling that your emotion will burst soon, you will be overwhelmed and that's good for fun.
