This is what happens to most of the ICOs, but NVO is made to be held, not traded.

The NVOS will be divisible, with a fixed value of 0.99$, which means that you can 0. NVOS

I meant that, NVOS have decimals, so you can receive 0.12345678 NVOS

Regarding Hardware Wallets, we know that Ledger nano is compatible, for Trezor, it is not yet possible.
We are still having issues with Ripple into the API, but as long as it is confirmed into a block explorer there is no problem as it is under the controle of the escrows (Blazed for Ripple).
