Bitcoin is in the different league so it would be very difficult for any other coins to catch up with bitcoin in the future, at the moment no coin is not even near to the bitcoin so it's looks like impractical to expect any other coin to reach out the bitcoin.

In as much as I see bitcoin hitting ATH in the millions dollar arena, you should note that anything can happen in the crypto space in as little as a blink of an eye... A close call one time was Ethereum
