It was normal for the market price to drop since it was a bullish market today and bitmex issue could be also the reason why bitcoins slightly decrease so keep on holding your coins and wait for the price to pop up again before selling your coins in the market.

But the reasons for the ups and downs are not entirely clear, it really may be true that someone super whale manipulating the course to buy cheaper creates a negative news background.
