Pick a topic that you're knowledgeable in or at least want to learn. Engage in discussions and offer facts or opinions. The problem with spamming noobs (I mean real people with at least some interest in the forum and not the bounty-hunting bot/zombie army) is that they fire a bunch of posts vaguely (if at all) related to the thread title without reading anything and without responding to anything in particular. That's how spam megathreads happen. Don't do that.
-On the forum there are plenty of offers for sale of merit and rank.With this unfortunately no one fights and so beginners choose an easier way.
Then be the one to fight it, expose merit sellers/buyers. You might even earn some merits for that.
