You did not write on what OS you are trying to make this update, but maybe you have problems with drivers ( I have problem on Windows 7) so check this thread, maybe there is something which can help you to solve problem. Also I see you try to make update on Ledger Live, maybe problem is in this - we all update firmware with Chrome App - Ledger Manager which is still work these days - maybe it's worth trying.

Verify MCU genuine appears.

Push 2 buttons on top at same time, read the instructions to safe mode.

Open ledger manager, it gonna show up with a message that new firmware is available.

Dear Lucius, yesterday I read and tried all listed recommendations, I started from Windows7 after I read about drivers problems I did it on Windows10, tried from ledger manager and ledger live, all possible manipulations I could. I told myself, after many hours that I won't spend any more of my time on this.

After I read your post (even I knew I tried that already), decided to give it one more try, I did it on Windows 10 via Ledger manager, I just plugged in the ledger and it started to update himself?! Can you believe this??? Unbelievable, the only guess I have that maybe...maybe they looked through the logs I sent and fixed some bugs, otherwise, I have no idea why now only after plugin, the correct version installed within a few minutes...

If not your post, I won't try again, so one more time THANK YOU for your time! You saved me a lot of nerves and my restored wallet made me happy Cheesy
