You don't have to wait for wallet to sync to receive the coins.
Just send them to your wallet address and you will see them there when fully synced.

If you do this, you can check on the block explorer https://chainz.cryptoid.info/hbn/ if Cryptopia has sent the coins to your address. So you can be sure that the coins have arrived without the wallet being full synced. Wink
