Maybe by the time the growth begins, a person is already making a fortune selling at a low price. I would now merge, because obviously not the bottom yet. Would fix the profit well, and most likely paid off a little later

Selling now means fixing losses, until you sold anything and didnt do anything with your investments - you havent lost anything, so there is hope for a bright future.
