Meayweather knows how to promote a fight really well, he knows that people wanted to see the fight between Manny Pacquiao and now what he will do is to create a fan interest so that everyone will wait for the fight to announce and then he will come out of retirement and fight yet another biggest pay per view fight that will break all records and make a quarter of a billion dollars in half hour time. He is brilliant in his approach to fight as well as to make money.

This social media spat between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather maybe a start of the promotion of the rematch but i think people already knew the style of Mayweather on promoting fights. I don't say that this won't sell but people will just shrug it off and think that what they say on social media is purely hype for the rematch.

But the thing with Pacman though is not he is not a social media guy, so I don't think that he is the one 'officially' responding to all of Floyd's spat him maybe someone from his team to spark the boxing fans for another rematch between the two. And maybe Floyd wanted to see how fans will react and then hyping it more so that there will be more money going to be in the table for him and Pacman. So let's see how the drama continues.
