in English: ethnicity, religion, race, and inter-group relations

It would only be in vain if the thread presents no new discussion. A lot of people don't like replying on older threads when the discussion is outdated, and because most substantial users here will read from the first page on wards to catch up with the discussion older threads can sometimes be problematic if that information is now outdated.

I agree, it is sometimes necessary to create new thread with similar topic of old thread
as long as the new thread has something new (of old topic) to discuss, I think it would be ok
and replying to an old thread even with new information may still be deleted Cry
