The difference is the story that I experienced, not on the slow network of 1 peers but precisely when I want to turn off my PC I forgot not to disable mining and it lasted up to seven hours resulting in a penalty of 62 idena. I regret that I did not read the faq provided, but now I understand and will not repeat it. 
62 idena is worth 14-15 hours of mining. That is really a stiff fine.
3 more days till the next validation, Create your flips now so you don't need to rush during the validation day and prevent irrelevant flips being created during validation.
Still waiting for the validation and still checking my connections, so far 8 to 20 peers sometimes I'm hitting 35 peers, so far so good I never want to experience that penalty again I hope with a new node, peers will not go down to 1 peer again,
I have also wanted to suggest to replace our current logo, something that people can relate and remember easily like a letter on a logo and not a face, maybe we should run a bounty for this.
