The question basically trying to solve the problem of whether to obey immoral/bad/unjust laws.
Should we obey or disobey bad/immoral laws? How do we determine what law is bad or immoral? If your country bans the eating of certain good fruits (perhaps due to misinformation, wrong or unscientific studies) , while you and others rely on the fruits for your health/survival, would you obey? Or if your country bans the teaching of your kids about GOD, would you obey?
I strongly believe you don't obey bad laws (if you're sure the law bad. *You will need to prove to people/court it is actually bad*). You have to handle the issue in sensible manner in order not to create problems.
Everything GOD says is good can be proven good in court or to people, no matter the country. A just society will certainly approve or consider, while the unjust will wrongly fight it.

As I have said, I won't debate with that unless the time comes that there's a certain country that bans the diet of most people or certain people, and to be specific, they ban good fruits base on your example.

Given the situation and the time has come, we believe that "for every rule, there is an exception".
