A few years ago, it was profitable as everyone went through the all-time high prices.

It is noticeable that even with the partnerships, the price isn't increasing a lot. Long term is also up to the investors' discretion if they think that it's fine to hold it for the long term.

It's them that's counting on it.

I think XRP is a pathetic coin, because it is profitable only in 2018, when the price reaches an all time high. But after that the price continued
to decline and there was no increase yet, even a lot of support for XRP from many banks, does not make the XRP pump price. So investing in
XRP for the long term is not a safe thing to do.

pathetic just because it failed to provide continous profit ? but look at other coin , the same thing happened . they only pump on 2017 but no pump followed after that . you also call them pathetic ? what if some coins offer thier service or usefullness but not profit but for the people that only looks for the profit , they should go on the pump and dump and newer hype coins instead because they can just easily replace that coins once its not profitable anymore but for the solid supporters if crypto , they can stay to show thier support .
