P2P transaction would be the safest but we know its only limited via localle but if you do tend to go international then having escrow would be suggested if you are buying into someone.
Its a hassle process yet trust would be the main issue in most cases because due to anonymity feature of crypto then someone can easily scam out without delivering the item or

p2p transction is not safe because there is no middle man involved on this unlike to non p2p like a centralized exchange , binance for example where they manage the funds that goes out and goes in on thier platform . p2p isnt limited because you can do p2p online and they are less restricted compare to non p2p platforms . it can be less hasle than a non p2p if you both trust each other but it can be hassel when not because you will feel the need of an escrow .
