Both requires the ball and that's where the game mostly circulates. While in basketball, if it's all/whole court, you need to have the both sides too but in street basketball, you don't need to have both of it. Having one is enough.

I'm sorry but I think you are a little bit off-topic, the thread isn't about which sport is the most appreciated,watched, practiced or chosen to bet on but which one is the most profitable to bet on. I don't think it's soccer because bookmakers are mainly focused on it and are trying to get the most relevant odds for each outcomes to not lose too much money since it's the sport attracting the most money. So you won't find the most Expected Value on soccer markets.
