Gambling addictions can be cured if the person itself is willing to change his way. Though there' are a lot of open opinions about this, the take will be in the hands of the higher authorities.
That is why there is a possibility that the company will not tolerate its employees who are involved with illegal or addiction problems or others because the company is very concerned about its business. They don't want to see it just because one person can bring another employee into the same problem. Termination is the last step they take if their employees cannot be informed or cannot be helped. But if employees who have gambling addictions or others want to open up and accept the treatment recommended by the company, maybe the company can still provide dispensation and want to accept more employees. Healing addiction to gambling or narcotics will depend on the person himself and must be from themselves.
