I think it was not to change Ronaldo at the end, but to do the opposite, release him after the first half, and start the game at a high pace with high pressure. In fact, most of the players who directly played with him speak of him in a strictly positive way. I think he will play with Morocco from the start and will be replaced at 70-80 minutes when the game is already done.
