Constructive and quality interactions with this community are appreciated by merits and this system was introduced to give spammers and useless posters a hard time to rank up and to enjoy privileges like reorganization in this community and slot in signature campaign.

You both make a valid point and I wonder why Emitdama said letteredhub because you're actually on the same page. However, getting merit is not always about making a constructive post cause it can be earned through a good contribution that helps others and it also comes through luck at some point because there is a huge constructive post that didn't get any merit.
