3rd party KYC providers may be used. However the casino itself also holds a copy [which only very senior and users under NDAs (I’d assume) would be able to view.

Well, how can we be so sure about what you are saying.? I've indeed noticed that kyc process for most online businesses today are being conducted by a third party coming specializing on processing kyc, but another thing which no body seems to be talking about at the moment is whether those third party kyc companies can really be trusted to keep user informations away from their platform, so as avoid users documents been tempered with just incase there was any or some kind of hack on the platform.

I think this is another important topic we will need to discuss.
